Happy Birthday KWC, I hope you get what you're looking for, too. You're still a young guy. 37 is not old. Wait until you get to your mid 40's. Then you'll have days in which you'll feel 93. But then, how would you feel when you hit 55? 65?

Your finally at an age when you stop careing about getting older and just enjoy yourself. Got all the money you want, all that is left is golf, sun, booze and looking at 20 year olds.

As long as your wife doesn't catch you.:largeannoyed:

Well now Dacar, no harm in smelling other people's cooking as long as you come home to eat, is there ? :)

Happy birthday to me, Happy birthday to me, I'm turning 37, but I feel like 93.

My birthday today guys. 37. I got a lot to be thankful for, 4 beautiful kids, great wife, and a good job. I hope I get what I want for my birthday, more of the same. Cheers.

Kev

Oh to be 37 again
Just turned 38

Thanks for the replies guys. I've had a good birthday. Spent the day with a little work at first, then spent the rest of the day with my family. I didn't really want anything, because I already have everything I could want in life as I said before. Thanks again for the replies.

Kev

Well, Kevin, I still say you don't look 37, judging from your avatar. You must have one of those youthfull appearances. :)

cg to you, Kevin and to Rawly aswell.

By "looking at 20 year olds" I ment "taking long walks with your beloved wife"

Aaaahhhhh. I get it. Ha! Silly me. I thought you actually meant looking at OTHER 20 year olds. I'll have to let my wife know about that one. See if she buys into it. :hang:

BTW, who was that who referred to me as "she" and "her" in this forum?

Dacar just realised your sig has reference to the new doctor who, do you get that in the states already?

Yes, Sci-Fi channel has already run series 1 and I have heard they are picking up series 2 as well, but no official word from them yet. I have been a fan since the early 80's when I discovered it on running on Sunday nights while I was in college and staying up late. We used to watch it out in the back yard with pizza and beer. Oh, those were the days!

That would be.... oh, I know it starts with something America is doing in Iraq right now. And something you would do to your bike when you leave it someplace and don't want anyone to steal it.

No offense taken, but I don't know what you're talking about. I said something about the wife. Maybe I am just old and don't get it anymore. :sad2:

The shows are awesome. I have only watched the first series up through Dalek. That one almost made me cry...poor dalek. I am waiting for my bro to watch them with me. I loved the one about the farting aliens. At first I was a little disappointed that they were bringing in that kind of humor, but then it made me laugh when we found out why they were farting.

Indeed the whole of the series is absolutely awesome. gg on the remake.
They choose the right actor for the remake. The man has stage-presence. You cannot look around him, he's there.

Remakes are difficult, because over time, memories of something we liked as a child have been embellished* by our minds, so it is often difficult to make something equal, let alone better then the original so many years ago.

There is one episode I was disappointed in, as it was completely disjointed from the rest of the series. I can only hope they leave it off the DVD. On the up side, it makes the rest of the series look even better. I mean, if you haven't been in a valley, how do you know you are on a mountain ?

And to continue on the remakes path, who's up for a Jace and the Wheeled Warriors movie ? Or a Star Fleet X-bomber remake ? Offcourse still with Brian May's version of the theme song.

* = had to look the spelling up on dictionary.com

"Jace and the Wheeled Warriors" dont think i have heard of that one is it anything like Charlton and the wheelies
"Star Fleet X-bomber" think i remember that one but not sure.

Think a film version of Blake's 7 would go down a treat.

A film version of Blakes 7 would be great. I loved the show, at least the first three seasons. I thought the last season was kind of a let down. The cast changed so much that I didn't really care about them and the missing Blake thing was overdrawn. The last episode was a little lame.

There are two or three books that take off where the series left off. They were good.

Well, I'm entirely bored of D2 now, so you won't be seeing much of me around anymore. School starting again and a nice new job too.

I'll likely to make a return for LS4, classic only, to play with friends (and appease my fans). Until then, I still have enough posts here for my stalkers to read and call me about crying. I'd say I was pretty damn good if I managed to get internet stalkers who went to enough trouble to find my cell number.
