When nobody is in the channel, it is empty. If you were there, then it wasn't empty at all.

There's a '/who (channel name)' command. But if the channel is empty then it will just tell you that the channel doesn't exist.
So the channel is never empty.

Hey all. I started playing d2 ages ago and kept quitting like so many others. The last time I played I played strictly hardcore with a friend of mine who lives down the street and had a blast. Since I'm back and my friend isnt, I'm looking for a cool group of people that I can trust in hardcore. I'm currently playing the standard fishymancer who just creeped his way through the maggot lair on nightmare (whew!). My account name (and current character name) is TrashCrap. I look forward to meeting you guys.

Any of the old guard still kicking around?
My permits are up in Canada in a month, so I might try to persuade Socialism (he gets mad when I use his name here
) to do another CTA with me before I leave the country. Wouldn't be the same without a friend there to mock me/drink with/celebrate 35% FCR spirits with.

The good ol' days when you could find groups of people to play with...

I had actually hoped for a bigger response... One with a bunch of old friends showing up saying "yeah, lets give it a go!", so that I could be convinced to join in... But it seems that most of the old crew have gone dormant (not that I blame them).
Realistically, the best we could do is Shah... I mean Socialism, me, Dan, Myk & probably Sara could be persuaded. So only 5 of the 8 spots, the rest would have to be filled with other forum members. And given the "no show" rate of people who sign up... we might not even have a full game.
And as an aside... where are you from? To be honest, I had always assumed you were Canadian, since you were in Ontario... But apparently you're only an invader from somewhere else?

I'm a SP HC player with 4 guardians (2 of them untwinked) and 0 deaths in my shoulders. I can show you the guardian threads if you want to take a look at them. I would really like to join your HC team. SP feels a bit lonely sometimes. I prefer leveling by questing that making hundreds of Baal Runs hosted by bots of any kind. I will be on holiday till 8th August or so, but I will be able to play with you from them on. Let me know if I can join.

Started an Assassin yesterday, got to 24 and then died cuz I was careless.
Started over with a sorc today, found a good group and managed lvl 30 and act 5.
