Is this table supposed to refer to how sanctuary affects these attacks? I dont quite understand
Yes, correct. Table of skills that are affected by self wield Sanctuary aura and it what manner. For Example:Is this table supposed to refer to how sanctuary affects these attacks? I dont quite understand
Well, Venom Lords are demons and not undead, but it'd make Sanctuary aura way more useful if it received the same buff as Holy Bolt in being able to work on demons.Yes, correct. Table of skills that are affected by self wield Sanctuary aura and it what manner. For Example:
Assassin is using Azurewrath and kicking a Venom Lord with Dragon Tail in Chos Sanctuary. Even though Venom Lord will display/show that he is immune to Fire damage, you will actually be doing full damage from Azurewrath mods and your Dragon Tail, as if monsters resistances are 0
Just use sunder charm? What you could do with a tesladin (if you get HS aura from Dream) is to have one point sanctuary in your own skill tree and switch to that when encountering such mobs.Nevertheless quite useful weapon switch for something like tesladin. Good bye gloam problems.
Not playing D2R yet so was theory crafting life after transition but forgot about the sunder charms. Still Sanctuary sets lighting resist to 0 on immune undead and while sunder only gets it to 95. Crescent Moon of course gets that down to 60. Sunder will be the generally better option as it works on other than undeads as well.Just use sunder charm? @Nano nice table, thanks. But isn't Holy Bolt already ignoring magic resistance of undeads regardless if using sanctuary aura or not? I mean, that is why we used that skills on hammerdins on baalruns
what one could do (running dreams and sunder charm) is to use salvation solely for LI undeads and conviction otherwise. Not playing D2R yet so was theory crafting life after transition but forgot about the sunder charms. Good point about Dream(s). Was for me so far from realm of possibilities that did not think of it. On the other hand with dreams you would probably be running conviction thereby not having any immunity issues to begin with.
It is easy to test if the character screen is display the ACTUAL resistnaces@drmalawi This should be easy to test. Level 15 Fade is supposed to last 288 seconds. Check the resistances before it procs (need at least one less than 75%) Once it procs go to a safe area and just wait. Once the time has expired what do you or the Merc look like and what are their resistances. If the resistances drop back then Fade has stopped working and go back out checking resistances periodically to see if Fade does proc again and actually work.
I know it is easy to test, but it is even easier to see if there is someone else who has knowledge about thisI don't use treachery often, but I swear that once my merc's proc it the never lost the ethereal look. Had to get up and let the dogs out once and it was still ethereal when I got back.
Even if the LCS is lying again it still is fairly easy to test. Just go to the Bloody foothills and see how things go with burning archers or find a gloam rich environment.
