I'll have aim up that day, tell me what server and I'll be happy to shed your blood! By the way... does anyone know how I can get out of driving 4 hours to see my girlfriend on her birthday? It's may 20... release day.

I'm pretty stuck on Conqueror, HoX, or Barb right now. Leaning towards Conqueror

Break a leg? Become rather sick? Break up? Run out of money? Get car privy taken away? Couple flat tires?

Or be a man and call her up and see if its ok that you come see her on the 19th and be even nicer and more giving if she obliges! I am sure she knows you are a gamer, or its going to end badly anyway, so work it out!

Hey still plays on awegynn a lot~

and Im pretty sure its FFA, not sure which server yet, they havent given me all the info ^^ they just drug me into it about 6 days ago or so~

We should just make sure we all get on the same server, regardless of if we are in the same guild. :D I'll post a server thread nearer to release.

I think spade should probably try to scam xey into trying AoC out...

Also, I just read the spellweaving article on ign (linked from aoc community page)... it makes casting seem much more fun than I'd thought at first. Now I'm somewhat torn on classes again T.T

Still pretty stuck on Barbarian, Conqueror, or HoX. It will be one of those three, just have to decide which :D.

Priest of Mitra has my attention now... only thing is I like to solo a lot, and mass healing + mass cc doesn't sound like good solo play, just good PvP... we'll see. I'll probably use my 3 day headstart to play that, and if I'm not liking it roll an assassin on the 20th.

I don't actually forsee my self going HoX, it was just one of the classes I tried on PvP weekend and ended up falling in love with the coolness of.

I'll probally end up with conqueror just because I love the 2 handed weapon/armor combo.

Call me a loser but I think of sturm brightblade :D

I am still trying to get more info from those play the game but nobody seems to be able to answer what the impact of items will have on PvP. I have no issues cranking out several lvl 80's most likely, but in an MMO in the past its been more difficult to aquire the items/riches to have that top of the line stuff with all the +'s to them.

All I can get out of what I have seen is "it will be different" which could mean just about anything really, so if any of you know anything along these lines let me know. Not sure I want to get into a lvl & item grinder MMO I have to pay monthly for and need ot stay at it hard just to compete in PvP.

The people who are playing open beta are under a pretty strict NDA from what I understand. However, they say that items will not play as big a role as they have in previous games, however take that with a grain of salt. Most games say that.

so have any of you guys played the beta yet?

Friend of mine got in...said unless some things change this game isnt going to be worth it.

Says the melee system blows hardcore.

I have been looking forward to playing this game for a while, but it looks like my videocard isn't going to be able to handle the game. Sucks a lot

I played the PvP weekend and I liked what I saw. The only complaint I had was the combos did not seem very fluid, however the more i learned the combos, the more fluid they became.

Edit: The open Beta and PvP weekend are behind the current version. And the Open Beta is nothing more than a stress test. You can only level to level 12. I didn't care enough for open beta.
