I too play WoW and keep my eye out for hints....though I will not be looking over a building in that much details :S

Afterall, the greatest number of sockets an item can have is 6. There are 33 runes...there is a mathematical equation for figuring out the number of possible combinations a sequence can have. Why isn't anyone using this approach?
Take a helmet with two sockets, calculate the number of possible combinations and then plot them out. After doing so, try each of them. Do so for each item type and for every possible number of sockets. I can assure you this will be quite a large number...especially when you get into items with 6 sockets...but it can be done.
The only issue then becomes the availability of runes, since the new rune words will work (presumably) on ladder. It then becomes clear why using clues to guide the search for runewords is the preferred method for runeword discovery. Mathematically you have a LONG way to go.

We are all working with a spreadsheet kept up by Wathombe so that we can track what has been tested. This chart is updated and linked constantly so that we don't waste time and runes by double testing.
(I think my avatar says it all.)
If you're referring to GTA:SA, yup, it's a blast. I just unlocked the desert and Las Venturas, so I'm close to finishing the story missions. After that it's just finding all the jumps, rampages, packages, side missions, et cetera, which is far less addictive. I can hop back into D2 more, at least until Battle for Middle-Earth comes out in December.I hope your'e working out and not callin' out fools in their own neighborhood.
Hey, I love that. Six Vexes, one Ohm and one Cham to test these all... what do you have left Wathombe ? And did you try SolLumBer or SolUmBer already ?InsaneFarmer said:in BoTD

Any suggestions? Any item more suited for the first test?
Sorry to hear this, Cher0kee - Hope everyone gets well soon. 2nd job? Hell, my first is bad enough. Hope to see you again soon. If you need any help with muling/testing/refreshing/etc. just let me know.Cherokee said:I'm alive -- just been real busy with a sick family and a 2nd job... I'll have more time in the near future...
