My thought is what comes below from BA. BA is a mafia Role Cop and identifies you Night 3 (see claim below), mafia use this knowledge to block you.

This doesn't add up. Why did BPC live so long if this is the case?

One conclusion you don't have there is that we are both telling the truth about our role, except that BA is a mafia investigative role. I find it very unlikely that town would have two similar cops (BA and BPC), they fit almost into the exact same space. It is more likely that one of them is a scum role and the other town.

Actually alignment and role are two very different flavors of investigator. BPC was a traditional cop who gets alignment. BA has claimed rolecop which is given role but not alignment. In a game with two anti-town factions, one of which can recruit if we believe CoolBadGuy, it kinda makes sense for the town to have power roles.

I find it ironic that you are throwing suspicion on BA while claiming an investigative role of your own.

Laying it on just a bit thick here. I found the DJ/CBG/Jcakes connection a bit contrived earlier but you've managed to be just scummy enough to get me suspicious.

If I was mafia and knew Laarz was the doctor and also had a mafia teammate who is a blocker how is Laarz still alive? How was CG (who claimed he was) saved by Laarz? Also I am mafia because BPC was an alignment cop? In a large game with two potential mafia groups, how do you figure? If BPC or myself are killed night one and we are the only pro-town investigative roles the entire balance of could be gone.

Actually, I had just woken up and now I feel like this was a trap.

If you guys are deadset on me attempting to cure DJM, then I'll try...I'm just letting you guys know there's no assurance it'll work, and even if it does, there's no assurance that I'll be notified of a positive result.

Why don't we just have everyone do this?

It only applies to the person who he voted for. If they quote him when he voted for them, he'll learn if they were a zombie or not. Honestly actually would have been a nice ability to bring up way earlier in game...zombies can't exactly avoid it as long as you engage them while they're actively posting, since that evasion would be pretty obvious.

Quite simple, N4 BPC was saved by Korial. That said BA's post before does make some sense .... hmm there goes that theory. Interesting that you instantly went to BA's defense though.

Also on the CGB thing, I didn't think about the potential connection.
I chose him for two reasons
1) He was online
2) He is one of the players I am not sure about his claim.

In my situation who would you have chosen?

If I was mafia and knew Laarz was the doctor and also had a mafia teammate who is a blocker how is Laarz still alive? How was CG (who claimed he was) saved by Laarz? It is also possible that you lied about the order you investigated. You have somewhat convinced me though .... I thought for sure that you were scum based on the fact that Laarz was apparently prevented from saving yesterday.

I thought about it, the thing is there is nothing to stop the person from just avoiding posting and pretending to be offline.

Nice try on turning it around but I wasn't defending Bad Ash. I was attacking you. BA did quite a good job of defending himself while I merely pointed out that your rationale didn't hold up.

What's going on doesn't feel right. DJM comes out as a zombie and then JCakes and CGB make odd or questionable zombie-related claims and the two of them plus Numbers and Drixx start going off on all these tangents. It seems like if some of these players are on the same team then this could easily be an effort to hide DJM right out in the open by complicating everything with discussions of roles and zombie mechanics. DJM's drifting into the background while attention is spread out and votes are getting split.

Nice double post AAA. I already said I'd gladly put the locking vote on DJ. I think the worst case for his post is that he has some sort of bomb mechanism, and I think the rest of his post is misinformation.

That's possible. However, how does it make sense to lynch our only known zombie, if we have someone here who can cure zombies? that seems like a terrible waste since lynching dj is essentially just maintaining parity with the scum, while curing dj is actually a swing(-1 to them, +1 to us) which puts us ahead an additional night.

Also...Major Lorne? No other information about your role, like or powers, if any? if you have none, clarification that you have none would be good.

Yeah, I see your point. I'm just worried that we'll complicate a simple matter. If CGB were to be bluffing about the cure role, what do you think are possible reasons that a DJM and CGB team would have for getting us to give them extra time to stage a cure?

Also, is there some way that any of us would be assured that the cure actually happened? If CGB just says, "I'll cure DJM tonight" and then "DJM comes into tomorrow saying, "I'm cured, now I'm a pro-town player," how do we verify that? Maybe by waiting an extra night on top of that for some sort of verification or relying on the strange immediate daytime Zombie Finder role that JCakes claims?

I don't want to get too caught up in conspiracy theories but this scenario could play out that DJM, CGB, and JCakes are all zombies. That way, CGB does a fake cure on DJM and JCakes later confirms it with his daytime voting PM schtick and then we're all just caught in the awkward situation of either choosing to believe them or facing the possibility that those three could have bought themselves a fair amount of time, especially if BA (assuming his power works) gets preoccupied and doesn't investigate DJM two nights from now after a potentially fake cure. To me, it feels like things are getting made complicated which is why I've been hesitant to make a move besides lynching DJM - not that I can't see the appeal of looking elsewhere as well.

I think my private message from TC is a little different from everyone else's. I was asking Pharphis a lot of questions about how mafia works before the game started and he directed me to a wiki and said that when I'm signing up I should ask TC to send me a detailed explanation of how my role works and a few of the characteristics of a mafia game. TC told me he would take it easy on me and all I needed to do was read the forum in the day and engage in conversation about suspicious posts to try to vote against anti-town players. And he said that my character is Lorne. The rest was just explaining how voting works, letting me know that some other players would be active in the nighttime, and clarification on a few terms like WIFOM, MYLO/LYLO, QT, and Night Kill.

Ah. Fair enough. So, it seems likely you're just a vanilla townie. hmm.

About the potential conspiracy: We could also do that, and have laarz protect BA while he investigates CGB. In that scenario, we lose either laarz or CGB, because scum know to target them, but we can confirm that cgb is who he says he is, which let's BA essentially clear two townies at once. Of course, if BA is scum, it all falls apart. And if laarz was roleblocked last night, and can be blocked again tonight(can roleblockers usually target the same player repeatedly?), we'll lose BA and be left with no idea if CGB was telling the truth, or if DJ is cured.

Only problem, is that I still don't know if you are mafia or town. I don't think we can risk keeping DJ alive. I think I'd rather lynch DJ then risk CGB being mafia and not save DJ.
