Good job town. Coju, I still had you pegged for scum even a few days after I was dead. Not sure if I would have let you slide with a nameless claim, it is an important detail to me!

Oh, mafia had day talk, no way. Pretty awesome.

The masons and the spiking was an awesome idea. If pcm hadn't heard what he heard, Mal would have been quite hard to figure out because the spiking wouldn't have had any noticeable consequences.

Bloody fast is right. thefranklin could have tested almost every one of my posts the entire game and it would have came back truthful. Look at 524 and 635 for help finding scum!

I think PCM is going down. I really liked the Eavesdropper role. Can't see it ever being used again; the mafia will be too alert to it in another game. Shame. I liked it.

It's sounds fun until you play against it. No thanks. Twice is more than enough for me. The only "counter" mafia have available is to not talk at night or to cheat (rules dissalowed making a separate mafia QT hidden from the mod).

One role that can accurately identify every single mafioso AND town power role in a couple nights is a BIG balance issue. It doesm't matter what post restrictions there are, pcm found a way around them and could have found more if he wanted to. At a minimum, posts seen by the Eavesdropper should have all names changed to playerA, playerB, etc.

This game had the trifecta of being heavily themed, not providing fake claims, and showing full night kill results. Pretty brutal for mafia when they needed to kill/lynch so many townies before winning.

Wow, mafia DID have it really rough. I was worried throughout the entire game that the mafia was going to be stacked simply because there were so many power roles on the town end.

Also, I'm (somewhat ) sorry for attacking you so much when solar suggested you. I did like his suggestion because I know you're great at this, and didn't see much content coming from you, however I didn't know that you normally 'law it low' the first few days, and my expectations in general were a little high.

Gory: I could only do the lie detect thing once a night, and it was really hard early on to figure out what post I wanted to check. People tend to put more than one statement in their posts, the ~bleeps~.

Interesting I got spiked on my "Lies" result of JCakes. I should have came at JCakes harsher to try and save PCM, but it would have probably made me look scummy going after a claim like his, especially to the people who were convinced of PCM's scumminess.

To tell everyone the truth, the only reason I saved Jcakes, was because I thought I was dead that night, had realized I had only used my power once(iirc), and wanted to cause a little mayhem for my departure.
Very nice Unvote on Jcakes, Caluin Graye! That really messed with a lot of people.

Thyaid, very nice game. LOADS of fun. LOTS of people. Thank you all for not killing me before mid/late game. I cannot stand early game shenanigans.

Don't be sorry simply for attacking. It's how the game is played. I don't mind being thought scummy because I didn't contribute enough. I did mind the whole "were losing because a cop is dead and Gory hasn't found any mafia yet." I was genuinely scumhunting the other mafia and I genuinely though ML was a member (as did almost every dead player for many days).

If you see, I also thought Solar Ice was scummy because he basically imitated my early scumhunting, made sure I got credit, then turned around and thought I was scummy despite coming to the conclusion that kestegs was town before he did. He was doing exactly what the "follow the cop" Jilted mafia did the day of my lynch.

And it's not so much laying low as not wanting to divulge too much of the wrong kind of info. Most of my early reads are of the pro-town variety. It's not a great idea to tell the thread that I think thefranklin was a pro-town lie detector or that the only way MartinLong is town is if he's also a cop. This is true no matter my alignment: as mafia I don't want to give the doc easy saves and as town, I don't want to give mafia easy kills.

Also, my early reads suck more often than not. I'm fairly famous for getting town power roles lynched D1 EVEN WHEN I'M TOWN. It takes a few days to get some solid evidence against anyone. D1 lynches are always crap. Even if one of my early reads were right (Gwaihir), the "proof" isn't any better than a mistaken read on someone else (Sathoris, kestegs, ML, etc). In my case, coju, who I identified as townie, voted for kestegs, who I identified as likely mafia. That was all the incentive I needed to make my first vote of the game.

I think even if the two mafia were one team we wouldn't have one.

I actually liked my fake claimed role, which was part of why I claimed it.

And thank you, Goryani and Caluin Graye, for helping me out earlier this year. Goryani, I used a lot of the information you use to hunt, to hunt on the fly. As of this game (I'm putting it this way in hopes that it changes), I greatly dislike early game. As you all are aware, I play very scummy; it's just the way I think. My post count would really be about 30+ more if I posted everything I thought and actually typed out, but deleted because it looked way too scummy. (Had to start reading posts from other's perspectives.) I did notice a couple of things you look for whenever I put my 'detective eyes' on, and didn't talk about many of things because of that.

What was funny, about that particular 'thing,' was that towards the end of the game, pro-town and anti-town alike were asking the same questions and pinging that anti-town pingy.

Yeah, in the end if there wasn't the drink result on Gwaihir I would have been at a complete loss as to who to go for. Everyone seemed equally scummy to me (aside from coju a bit more so because of his actions) and I found myself trying to come up with how each person could be scum, and how they would be doing it. That's how I came up with my idea on Moar lying entirely about using the drink on Gwaihir.

@ph's 1919: If it came to that, I would have tried to find something more against gwahihr. Or just try and push a vote on you since you had 4 doc saves, then 6. then you would have been out of doc saves. Or pyro for being the drink-deliver. Or even nuilo, for being half a tree.

Then, I would have had to save that person. And say I'll save everyone but gwahihr. lol
