Witch Hunt: The NCIS Haloween Forum Mafia Thread

Re: Witch Hunt: The NCIS Haloween Forum Mafia Thread

How much into the series ARE we actually playing into?

Re: Witch Hunt: The NCIS Haloween Forum Mafia Thread

Hopefully a minimal amount, as I've never seen a single episode. It's Gorny, though, and I get the sense he's a fan. He also obviously loves making us run through complex setups, which is awesome.

I couldn't have said it better.

Re: Witch Hunt: The NCIS Haloween Forum Mafia Thread

yeah i have never seen NCIS either.

this has been so much fun that i have signed up to mafiascum

Re: Witch Hunt: The NCIS Haloween Forum Mafia Thread

that depends on what he has to say

he left because of RL, not to hide.

If he can get himself some townie points then maybe, just maybe, people will let off him, i am still keen to just get rid of him but you are a VERY close second on my scum radar.

He says he was here before the night fell and just didn't post in time. It was on nearly every page of discussion from day 1 that people wanted a response from him, so at least something like "I just got in, got held up, am reading thread now" or /something/ would have made me feel way better about him.

I must say I prefer realtime games a bit more, as it seems like all this time has folks overthinking stuff. I mean, most of the folks who have me on their radar simply approach the game differently than I do. In this case, different = early lynch ... which sucks for me :(

Re: Witch Hunt: The NCIS Haloween Forum Mafia Thread

Korial - To answer your Q from post 399 (even though Flub has already mentioed it)

I did vote for Coju (and on your list) following Drixx & Noodle's lead as I thought it was the way the train was going. I could have switched my vote to Zemaj to make it 6 but since it didn't really make a difference I figured it was a moot point.

I also would like to hear from those who didn't vote at all!

There is an element of....oh what do the kiddos call it.... oh yes, lying which comes into play in these games. It seems to drive our friend Zarniwoop quite mad!

I remember post #79 by zemaj stating he would return, but no mention of a camping trip. Pulled that rabbit right out of your hat didn't ya'

I was going to wait and see if Sathoris or Asrrin would pounce on these items, but that wouldn't be nice of them...being Mafia teamates and all.

People so easily forget about taxi drivers/bus drivers and the ability to switch night actions. Our pooor "victim" Caluin Graye might well have been the result of a fine bit of cabbie work.

So here is another load of crap from flubbucket to be ignored by the piss matching imbeciles...:thankyou:

Re: Witch Hunt: The NCIS Haloween Forum Mafia Thread

Now regarding yesterdays votes, I've included below the list excluding ankeli (voted on by zemaj) and obviously zemaj himself.

coju [5].................(corax, Noodle, flippy, flubby, Drixx)
corax [2].................(Gullik, Ryleh,)
Drixx [5].................(Valhauros, Asrrin, Bad Ash, coju, kestegs)
Sathoris [2]................(Boogyman19946, Malevolent)
Feysal [1]................(Sathoris)

I'd very much like an explenation from Gullik, Rlyeh, Boogy, Mal and Sath as to why you didn't help get the lock on zemaj. Or at least why your vote stayed where it was at the end of D1. In fact I wouldn't mind having everyone that voted on coju and Drixx to do the same thing.

What's even more interesting is why Asrrin, PvtCaboose and Flip didn't vote at all. Explenations please?

Here's your message and excluding me I'd also like to hear why votes went the way they did.

Re: Witch Hunt: The NCIS Haloween Forum Mafia Thread

On to todays votes:

Day 2 votes/lynch information: 13 to lynch 14 to lock

Drixx: [5].......................(Caluin Graye, Asrrin, Ryleh, Sathoris, Valhauros)
zemaj: [12].......................(ankeli, Korial, flubby, Noammr, Drixx, gullik, coju, Malevolent, Uraj, kestegs, Gory, Gwaihir)

zemaj has 12 - it's 13 to lynch and we have plenty of time... lets not get an accidental lock too early

Re: Witch Hunt: The NCIS Haloween Forum Mafia Thread

Flubb... I want to stop short of going after someone's real life or their reputation. I mean, it's all fun until someone gets really hurt you know? But you are right ... I'd like to hear from people who said nothing of substance and/or didn't vote.

Actually ... the longer that passes without that 13th vote the more sure I become that zemaj is mafia. The reasoning is that if he's not mafia, surely there's a mafia or two in the game who have been post active and could "switch" or "agree" and finish off the voting without raising too much suspicion. Getting the town to kill a townie is a good day's work, especially with me seemingly on the hook for tomorrow.

Re: Witch Hunt: The NCIS Haloween Forum Mafia Thread

Wow Drixx - you just jump for that noose don't you? ;)

We have a TON of time left and all of the town will look at the last votes esp the lynch/lock votes if Z turns up town.

Re: Witch Hunt: The NCIS Haloween Forum Mafia Thread

I was very worried when you mentioned replace/modkill because I knew it was only a matter of time before someone else suggested to swap all votes to me and let you take out zemaj for us. It didn't take long for that suggestion to come up, but thankfully someone else pointed out that then all zemaj needs to do is make a couple posts before the next 26 hours pass and he wouldn't end up replaced/modkilled after all.

This passage bothers me. Mainly, the last sentence there. You speak like this is something that did happen, yet all I see is a vague reference between Uraj and Ankeli possibly talking about lynching someone else should zemaj be replaced. I don't see where someone else pointed out zemaj making a post towards end of day? It certainly doesn't read like you meant to say that hypothetically, so where was that stated? Was it in this thread?

So I think he's saying that if I'm telling the truth the town loses very little (comparatively), but if I'm lying the town stands to gain much.

I think that's a very fair statement. As a vanilla townie, your goal should be to see the town win, even at the cost of your own life. If your lynch gives us vital reads into other players and progresses us to lynching scum, that's a win for the town. This is why I find it so strange that most of your defenses and posts have a very selfish point of view to them. It seems like you're playing towards your own win condition and not the town's.

Now then, just so I'm not being accused of tunneling like a rabid Ankeli...

Re: zemaj - I'd certainly hop onto his lynch. However, as mentioned, since he's at -2 to lock, there's no need to switch right now. I'll certainly be around tomorrow at deadline.

2- You can always count on Gman's games to have some unique roles and mechanics. Specifically, in this game the whole wounded/recovered thing probably works differently than we think.

I nearly had a stroke when you said that word. Never forgive. Never forget. VENDETTA.

I would think that a jailkeeper that results in public knowledge of targets and disposition of targets qualifies as 'working differently.'

I don't get the impression we have a jail keeper. Or, at least, that's not what happened to me. A jail keeper typically only shuts you down for the evening, not the whole day period afterword. Additionally, a jail keeper is usually associated with town - I was definitely attacked by an anti-town element.

Oh, and because I hate lurkers, where are PvtCaboose and Feysal gone off to?

Re: Witch Hunt: The NCIS Haloween Forum Mafia Thread

Says who? It hasn't been established that your attack was by a player. It could simply be a part of the game. It's too soon to tell for sure but we have 2 nights and 2 attacks which appear to be separate from mafia targeted kills.

And of course my point of view is selfish. This game started with 26 players. That's probably gonna end up in a game that goes weeks if not into a 2nd month. Dying at the start of such a game is pretty crappy.

Re: Witch Hunt: The NCIS Haloween Forum Mafia Thread

Look,if we get zemaj's lynch out of the way, please let us focus on Drixx next. He keeps digging his own grave, and I would love to oblige him.

Unvote: Drixx
Vote: zemaj

Re: Witch Hunt: The NCIS Haloween Forum Mafia Thread

CG -
Fey has been posting like he's under a post restriction or going for a "mafia role Oscar". He seems to be actually role playing and posting as such so really not much help (so far).

Re: Witch Hunt: The NCIS Haloween Forum Mafia Thread

Now what is the matter here? I like reading, magazines and things, but I can always put them down and retire for the night when I want to, I don't have to keep reading those into the wee hours of morning. You people never seem to stop talking though, even when there is little new being said.

One of you is certainly loud above all others. I think someone said his name was Dricks? Funny name, did you know it meant tips in Swedish? I learned that from old man Fredriksson, he likes to sing some old drinking tunes when he gets in the mood. Learned them in his homeland before the war, or so I imagine. He never talks about that much, he mostly just sings or hums to himself now, such a shame. He has no voice for singing you know. Mr Dricks though, he sounds like he could have a wonderful singing voice. I wonder why some people call him a liar? He seems like such a nice man when he is not throwing accusations around, which he seems to be doing quite a lot, come to think of it. Reminds me of that detective I saw on television, the way he questioned people. He always had one more thing to add when he was leaving too.

Oh, and Mr Jemage seems to be back too. I wonder if he has something interesting to share with us?

Re: Witch Hunt: The NCIS Haloween Forum Mafia Thread

I can say you are making this an enjoyable game Feysal! :thankyou:
