Re: ATMA/GoMule/RWM etc - Help Thread

Hello...my 1st post on this forum, heh...

Anyways, I've been a dedicated SP player and just recently decided to try out BNet play (SC Ladder, 1.13)...now, there is one thing that bothers me: since I'd like to continue playing my SP chars alongside online play and keep all the goodies the RWM provides, is there a way to make BNet and RWM coexist? Am I breaking any rules, ToS and such, if I install RWM for my SP play, will Blizzard ban me from BNet, send someone to break my legs or something...?

I appologise for noobish question, heh...not very familiar with SP>MP transition and my search-fu sux...

Re: ATMA/GoMule/RWM etc - Help Thread

I've never had a problem with RWM on Bnet, but I've never spent much time on there with it.

Safest thing to do is to just make a "vanilla shortcut"- just make a shortcut without the -direct -txt.

Bnet is evil. :p

Also, Ladder is about to reset, you may want to wait until it does to start.

Welcome!

Re: ATMA/GoMule/RWM etc - Help Thread

I would just like to say that I am an idiot. I didn't extract the files before I tried to run GoMule. It now works perfectly. LOL

Re: ATMA/GoMule/RWM etc - Help Thread

Thanx!

So, "vanilla shortcut" for Bnet, -direct -txt for SP, hm?

What, already a Ladder reset? Damn...me and my timing...just started with a MF Sorc...

Re: ATMA/GoMule/RWM etc - Help Thread

With the horrible luck I had with trying to get gomule to work, I was skeptical on getting RWM to work. As it so happened last night I finally got a four socket monarch to make Spirit with using the Tal/Amn/Pruby recipe. So, I decided to install and try to use RWM and it actually worked! I just could not believe it was that easy. I rolled a 32% FCR, but oh well. I just want to say thanks to all those that indirectly helped me as there are a few pages in this thread that were vital.

Re: ATMA/GoMule/RWM etc - Help Thread

Is there a tool that can give me a list of items that are duplicated across all my characters and stashes? (On 1.13c)

Re: ATMA/GoMule/RWM etc - Help Thread

Cases where there might be an exact copy of a single item that is currently in use on two characters simultaneously or one that is equipped on a character and also found sitting in a stash file.

Those items seem to have the same fingerprint as GoMule calls it and there is a delete dupes button that does at least partly what I want, but:
- It just deletes stuff without giving me a list of the affected items
- It operates a single stash at the same time. Items that are equipped on characters or duped in two different stash files cannot detected this way.

Re: ATMA/GoMule/RWM etc - Help Thread

Just for a quick question.
I don't know how to word this properly so I can't use the search button. =P
So the problem is now that I'm in Classic tourney, I'm forced to use Atma and not GoMule. When I do start Atma and load the character inventory, the lines that box the item slots - 'Body/Iventory', 'Cursor', 'Buffer', 'Private Stash', 'Horadric Cube' - don't fit up properly. They seem to all slide slightly to the right. Of course, I have no problem using Atma and everything works fine, but it's been bugging me for, well, forever. Anyone else have this issue? and mebbe know how to fix it?? =P

If you choose 'All' instead of any individual stash or character GoMule will be able to detect and delete any dupes it finds. As for showing the items I never bothered with running either program's dupe detector. You might want to try ATMA's dupe detector if you can. Its under the view menu.

A little late I know. Sorry I was hoping someone who still played would be able to help more than I would.

You might want to check the font type and size in ATMA. If it is not maybe a pic of ATMA might help explain your problem.

I got the idea from this post that is about a year old:

Thank you for your reply. The problem is that in the "all" window I do not have a "Delete Dupes" button. That button seems to be present only when viewing a single stash.
I am using GoMuleR3.1_1.13.

About trying out ATMA on 1.13: If I make sure that there are no essences/tokens, will I still have to mod ATMA or will it just work?

Re: ATMA/GoMule/RWM etc - Help Thread

Depending on where you downloaded ATMA you should not need to update it. If you downloaded 'ATMA for 1.13c' (ATMA V.7z) from the front page it is already updated. Long story short: To be on the safe side, create a character specifically to hold your essences/tokens and do not open that character with ATMA. Without essences/tokens stashes should be fine in ATMA.

Long Story:
Keep Tokens and Essences on Characters not Stashes in ATMA:
Even after updating some users have experienced that stashes become corrupted when they open a stash that had an essences/tokens in it with ATMA. Even GoMule is unable to open them if I recall correctly once they are corrupt.

Re: ATMA/GoMule/RWM etc - Help Thread

Trying to get Runeword mod to work - seem to be missing something.

In the download file is there supposed to be more than just a runes.txt file - I noticed people talking about .bin files.

My directory is \Diablo II\Runewords\data\global\excel

In the excel folder is just the runes.txt file.

Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

Re: ATMA/GoMule/RWM etc - Help Thread

Nevermind, I just noticed I was leaving the \runewords out of the start in for the shortcut. Hehe.

Re: ATMA/GoMule/RWM etc - Help Thread

Re: ATMA/GoMule/RWM etc - Help Thread

I recived essences from trade in .d2x file and can't open them in ATMA. Is that even possible (to open stash that cointains essences) in ATMA? I was trying to figure it out in the 1st post but I couldn't. Tnx for help. :)
