Etdlahq Memorial Bar - your shelter from forum crashes

So now we know that corax is 12 years old. Who knew?

I'm just stopping by to make sure the cages are deployed around the credit card, and that the cages are deployed around the cages. And the glass is down over that. And the lion is stalking around the glass. And that the cage is over the lion.

Well, that depends on the size of the Bud Light.

I think durf has given up on getting his credit card back, he didn't even stop by and try to get it back. Or maybe the complex lion, cage, and glass scared him off.

Alright, so here is an update on my job situation.

I ddi talk to my current manager and it turns out that he used to be the manager of the guy that was recruiting me. And was not 100% positive... All things considered I decided to turn down the new job and stay at my current position. It feels good, my gut feeling is still okidoki with it.

Also: Wednesday we had an ultrasound of the tiny baby!! Actually not so tiny, 6 cm from head to bottom and then 4 cm more for legs (12 weeks old). Spinning around like a little alien in there, perfect heart, perfect head, nose, feet and hands. Unbelievable. I am guessing an assassin considering the kicking moves in there but can't be sure :-)

The first lion was put inside the glass. he didn't do so well......

Grats on both queenem. it's a big reality check when you see it isn't it. it gets even better when they get like a whale and people across the room can see them shift.

going to find out the gender? or leave it a surprise?

Not sure yet... I mean; it would be nice to have that as a surprise. On the other hand it gets weird calling it "it" for 6 more months... And I guess the baby itself will be a surprise in itself. Well well, have 6 weeks to think about that!

Will help my father build a roof today so real honest handywork for a change :-)

pregnant lady on a lady. nice. ;)

I couldn't not find out. for me there is enough new stuff about to happen without having to pick up gender appropriate clothes/stuff after it pops out.

It'll also pick up itself a nickname in a week or two. trust me ;)

@queenem: That's wonderful news! Congratulations to you and your husband! And of course all the best to your baby! The first critical period is alread over, so I hope you can relax a bit :) Take care!

Oh, and being pregnant or, later, in postpartum period doesn't qualify as a reason to stay out of the SPF. We expect daily updates and pictures!

@Grisu: QE already said she expects to continue to be able to play D2 once the stork arrives, so why should visiting the Bar be any different?

Back from signing on at the job centre, got details of a couple of good vacancies. I just had the most delicious cheese bagel, and now I would love a beer.

currently watching mad max: beyond thunderdome.
awesome movie. i loves me some early mel gibson flicks.

also finishing off my soco in the form of irish coffee.

day off tomorrow. lots of chores.

My dwarf died in roleplaying on thursday. Mouthed off at the wrong spectre who teleported me to fight the beholder at the end of the dungeon.(he was a non hostile til i stole his big axe)....
so now i'm rerolling a druid. gonna be a badass smokey the bear

@Queenem: Glad you got your job situation resolved, and are happy with the results. And it is very cool to see the ultrasound for the first time too! I can't imagine not finding out before hand, but that is just me. My sister in law didn't find out on either of hers, and it drove me nuts. Even though I am psychic and knew what both of them would be, it was just sad that they couldn't know. :D

I think if for anything it's jsut nice so that you can be prepared, like corax said.

Today I played a game where the main character is voiced by Warrior from Diablo1. It was so awesome! The game has touches of greatness aswell.

nice.

I am watching super hero squad. it seems little silly. but on the other hand it is super heroes so it is pretty cool.

Looking forward to the captain america movie. also thor, but not as much. loves me some captain america.

Day off today and it's cold and rainy. no yard work for this guy *two thumbs*

No one got me a beer? <grumbles>

I for one am not looking forward to this year's superhero movies. Not really sure I'm looking forward to anything. I'm interested in Nolan's re-imagining of Robocop, yet apprehensive also. I can't remember the last time I enjoyed a remake as a complete product, rather than admiring it for one particular aspect. Maybe The Fly or the Sutherland version of Body Snatchers.

*beers fe*

robocop like most of the others has the potential for awesomeness.

My main concern with thor and captain america is that they will just be setups for the avengers and not movies in their own right. Whilst the avengers should also be cool i don't want to see a whole string of movies purely to make that one possible.

Also i hope the cap is fighting alien nazi's rather than normal nazis.

awww i didn't know i was your favourite
