The howling: A forum werewolf game.

Re: The howling: A forum werewolf game.

Vote Tally:

Asrrin - 1 (Ankeli)
Ankeli - 2 (Zhao_Yue and Noodle)
Moosehead - 2 (Asrrin and Spudnik)

that should be correct. all this flip-flopping made it harder for us.

Day ends in approx. 1.5 hours.

I think you forgot mine woman.

Re: The howling: A forum werewolf game.

@ Gorny - you didn't use a capital v on vote.

I may be reading this wrong but Ankeli's last vote before claiming tree stump was Asrrin and everything since has been ignored- so if Ankeli's role claim is true then I am gonna have to:

Vote: Moosehead

I'm sorry because I don't like voting newbies early (we were all there once!), but we need a lynch and that looks like the only lynch thats gonna happen!

Re: The howling: A forum werewolf game.

oh.

unvote: moosehead

*Places Duck on a spit over the fire*

vote: Moosehead

*starts cooking Duck*

Re: The howling: A forum werewolf game.

Fine. <sigh> A lynch is better than no lynch.

Unvote: Ankeli
Vote: Moosehead

Sorry, Moose, nothing personal.

Re: The howling: A forum werewolf game.

Can we get a vote count? Isn't it 7 to lynch we need some people to turn up!

Also was Dii post a resignation from the game or is she still an active player?

Re: The howling: A forum werewolf game.

Ankeli's vote is on asrrin because he never unvoted asrrin.
Current tally:
Asrrin: 1 (Ankeli)
Ankeli : 1 (Zhao)
Moosehead: 5(Asrrin, Spudnik, ITY, Noodle, Gorny)

12players alive:
6 to lynch, 7 to lock

Re: The howling: A forum werewolf game.

Ankeli's vote is on asrrin because he never unvoted asrrin.

Ah so I did misread it- I would switch my vote to Ankeli but I fear it is too late in the day!

We can't afford a no-lynch on the first day!

Sorry Moosehead!

Also is Dii still in?

Re: The howling: A forum werewolf game.

DII has let us known that her internet problems still haven't been fixed, unless they are in 40 minutes, she will be modkilled.

Re: The howling: A forum werewolf game.

Bad Ash, Krazey, Zhao & TC where are you guys?

We need some votes or this is gonna be a no-lynch.

Or would that suit your ends?

Re: The howling: A forum werewolf game.

At The Colony's bar, much debate was going back and forth. Once someone mentioned "werewolf", the new tourists freaked out.

"WHAT?!"

"Werewolves?!"

"Sweet!" (this was from Leopold. She got stares at her, and quickly changed her manner) "Oh, I mean, 'Werewolves? Oh, no. They are going to kill us.' "

"Let me get this straight?" Wickedswami said. "Are you guys saying that there are bloody werewolves around here? Jesus Christ!"

"No, no, good sir," I_Told_You told Wicked. "Well... maybe. There have been myths and Le Loup is supposedly a werewolf that kills and eats people. He;s just been-"

"You..." Dii Legend pointed a shaky finger at Wickedswami and his crew. "You people brought Le Loup with you!!! We're all gonna die!!!" She ran out of the bar, screaming prayers to God.

"Don't mind her," Bad Ash said. "She's just one of those people who don't say much, but they are there, ya know? Ehh, she hasn't said anything in a couple of days, actually. I'm surprised she was even here in the pub!"

"So..." Marahumm began. "This Lay Loop guy-"

"Le Loup," Leo properly pronounced for him.

He gave her a look. "Whatever, just... The Wolf is a myth and he's only killed until now? That makes no sense!"

"I'm so scared..." Wami weeped.

"Why did the clerk act all weird and call y'all 'natives'?" Leo asked. There were some chuckles at her "y'all". "Yeah, yeah, keep laughing... psh!"

"Who are you guys?" Wicked demanded. "I know there is a deeper thing going on here than what you guys are letting up."

The natives looked at them with somber faces. Wicked had been right. There had been something more sinister going on than what they knew.

"Le Loup was a being that existed many years ago," Asrrin began. "He had killed tourists then, but our relatives before us kept things quiet. Reason being, the guy running this shotty place wanted to keep the tourism up."

"It eventually leaked," Noodle said. "And The Colony was never the same. Things have died down over the years, but tourism isn't what it used to be. People around here don't like talking about what happened."

"That must be why people don't know much about this place," Wami whispered to the other three.

"When people DO come here," ITY was saying, "they don't leave. For some weird, bloody reason they still stay here."

ThunderCat tried communicating outloud, some people had no idea what he was saying. He wrote it down backwards.

" 'We are the natives because we were born here and are carrying out our relatives' wishes,' " Asrrin translated. " 'To kill Le Loup.' "

"Why now?" Leo asked.

"We don't know," Krazeyivan shrugged.

"Oh, Jesus Christ! WAKE UP!!" Ankeli exclaimed. "Have you not realized that Le Loup could be among US or be them?" He pointed to the two couples.

"Hey!" Marahumm said.

"For all you know, ThunderCat could be it! Or Bad Ash! Or Gorny! There's just so many to choose from..."

The natives started to argue amongst themselves, and now that Ankeli had started to point fingers, trust had diminished.

"Guys! Guys!" Moosehead exclaimed over the verbal bashing. "I have an idea. We all debate civilly to each other, vote who we all think is the best possibility for Le Loup, and lynch him. Only then will we know for sure."

Spudnik looked away from his potted plant and stared at him ghastly. "That's sick, mate! I like it. Let's do it."

"Yeah," Ankeli started dryly. "Let's pick each other off as we've known each other our whole lives!"

"Hey, man," Zhao said, "you were the one pointing fingers first."

"Yeah, besides it's what our relatives did!" Spudnik replied.

"Really? Well then, I think Moosehead is perfect to lynch!"

Moosehead looked up from his jester hat. "Me? Are you kidding?! What the hell did I do?"

"Provide us with uselessness," Gorny said.

Noodle seemed to digest this. "They both have a point. Nothing personal, Moosey, but you haven't really presented us with anything a few minutes ago when we were in a heated argument."

"Whatever! I presented stuff to you guys!"

" 'Yeah, stuff we already knew,' " Spudnik translated for ThunderCat.

"Why don't you think a day or so about wether or not I should be the one who gets killed" Moosehead said, but it was too late.

The natives began to gang up on him. Bad Ash had found a rope from somewhere within the bar and began tying a noose. Moosehead dashed out and ran towards the lake. Everyone followed.

"I CAN'T LASSO!" Bad Ash said.

"TRY!" Zhao said. "You're an American! Shouldn't you know how to do these things?"

"I'm not from Texas!"

"Hey!" Leopold cried.

"He's getting away!" ITY said.

Bad Ash started to circle the rope high into the air. He suddenly let it go and it slipped perfectly around Moosehead's neck. He yanked with ample force and Moosehead went down. He didn't move.

"Way to go, Bad Ash," Krazeyivan remarked sarcastically. "I wanted to see a LYNCH, not a hog-tie down!"

Bad Ash just shrugged it off. "He's dead, isn't he?" He looked over and saw a female body in the lake. "And there's Dii Legend. I guess she saved herself before Le Loup did."

"Smart girl," Wami weeped quietly. "I want to go home."

After some identification from the local Coroner, Moosehead didn't prove to be Le Loup. In fact, he was a human....

Moosehead was the Even jester, he had to be lynched on days 2/4/6/... to win. He died on day1 so he lost
DII legend has been modkilled, she was a simple normal townie.

P.S.: all credits go to Leo for the story

Re: The howling: A forum werewolf game.

After burying two of their own, night had fallen and people went to their cabins. Some people had become superstitious and set out religious relics and plants outside their doors to keep Le Loup away.

Wami was pacing around and trying not to weep. "Wiki, I'm so scared. I want to go home, to my nice, pretty bed, and see my fat cat, and my friends, and-"

"Wami! WAMI!" He took her and shook her gently. "It'll be ok. We're gonna get out of this alive. Don't worry." He held her close. "I'm not going to let anything happen to you."

Soon, they both fell asleep. Wicked tossed and turned, saw horrible visions in his sleep. More blood, felt more pain, heard terrified screams, and he was running in the woods again. Le Loup was on his tail this time, but Wicked seemed to be going faster. It was only until he had reached the car that Le Loup somehow jumped in front of him and was blocking his way to the car. "How did he do this?"

Le Loup leaped into the air, but Wicked was fading fast from the dream. He saw nothing, but heard ravenous growls and felt shaking. A thought popped into his mind, but he couldn't make it out. All he could say faintly was, "Noooo..."

Wicked awoke, not with a jump, but calmly. He saw he was back in the cabin, in the nice and cozy bed. Dawn had barely broke. Quietly, he got out of bed, got dressed in sweats and a hoodie, and ventured outside into dim lighting. The sky was criss-crossed with streaks of lavender and pastel blue hues. The full moon was bowing out of the sky, making way for the warming sun.

Wicked was enjoying a wickedly (hehe!) awesome stretch when he noticed that the door to Cabin 20 was slightly ajar. Curiosity got the best of him and he went to investigate.

"Hello?" he called out. "Anyone?"

It was dark and he couldn't see much of anything. When he found the lgith switch and flicked it on, he stumbled backwards. There was a large, dark red blood trail from the bed leading to the back, probably the bathroom. "Not again," he thought.

In the bathroom, the trail went into the bathtub. He tore open the shower curtain and swallowed bile. Bad Ash was hanging from the shower head by his entrails. His hands had been nailed into the wall so he was sprawled out. His eyes had rolled back, and Wicked noticed some gaps in his mouth where teeth should've been. Wicked looked down and saw that the teeth were not far from Bad Ash; in fact they were right by a bloodied hammer. Written in blood on the shower's wall was, "I AM THE GOD OF THIS COLONY."

Wicked ran out of the cabin, crying for help. Help soon came, and Bad Ash was taken away in a body bag, his teeth in a separate bag....

Bad Ash has died. It is now DAYTIME.

Re: The howling: A forum werewolf game.

Hm. I'm going to have to go back and see who Bad Ash was threatening, and if anyone seemed to have a problem with him.

Can werewolves hold hammers and write? Either we're dealing with an alarmingly intelligent and dextrous beastie, or there is some other night role. Vigilante? Serial Killer? Very interesting.

I think you maybe reading too much into the story- we've seen from previous games that the storyline can be misleading and send us down the wrong path!

So Moosehead was the even jester- a handicapped VI- the sly begger!- does anyone think we have an ODD jester too or would that be too much in a game of this size?

Looking back I'm not sure who would have been threated by Bad Ash- but I may have missed something!

Ankeli's random voting and role claiming yesterday was a worry- I assumed he was the "tree stump" because of his votes- but it turns out he just never unvoted Asrrin- so why all the votes and claim?

I'm thinking two wolves left (or maybe one) considering the game size- thats assuming the two kills on night 1 took out a wolf!

Also why did spud not get NK'd? With that suggested claim and the fact he couldn't protect himself 2 nights running(assumstion!) why didn't the wolves go after him?

That's certainly possible, but tough to verify. I'm going to keep an open mind at this stage.

I don't know. It wasn't the strongest role claim - Leopold Stotch could show him a thing or two about making a bold Day Two roleclaim. Maybe there was sufficient doubt to go after someone else. Or, maybe there's a bus driver role that switched Spud with Bad Ash - that actually makes sense, as I'm having trouble figuring out a reason for Bad Ash to be NK'd.
