Olga has finished A4. Hellforge dropped a Fal. The battle with Diablo wasn't too difficult since it was pretty easy to outrun the pink vomit of death :smiley:

lol, I was thinking of all of the tip-toeing around Act2... I'm too lazy to send a summary to Brak, but I'll post his stats from when I received him (I figure I started him on the path to redemption, I've earned the right :wink:):

... yep... Frost made Normal difficulty interesting again for me. His deeds of valour will always be remembered. :laugh:


FYI, I added 6 levels, 14 points STR (16 unused), a point in LeapAttack, AxeMastery, MaceMastery (and 4 unused).


Edit: And I still like my earlier idea (inspired by Brak/Frost): do this tourney again, but the objective is to make everyone "below" you die... maybe make it a random handoff after each round, so you're not always recieving characters from the same source... :scratch:



 
As it turns out, I'm out too.

Just back from holidays, spent the time to equip Updike and stepped out from Kurast Docks. Killed the spawned thingies and came across the golden firgurine boss-pack.

He was Holy Shock, LE, so, treading carefully, I took him down to a sliver, was on just over half life myself, put in the final blow, and "Deeds". I was amazed (dare I say it, shocked!) to see it happen, as I know he wasn't FE and my resists were pretty good.

I'll forward Updike and the stash back to Skunk shortly.

Oh well, these things happen in HC. Thanks for the fun tourney and good luck to those who remain, I'm disappointed not to be pushing on with you!

I had been thinking for awhile, it was kind of suprising how few deaths we had, so far. Condolences, you two.

Skunkbelly.....um......I read your earlier post that said we had until Jan 1 to get our act 3 character passed on. Been busy times, and I knew that, so I will do that, Freekje.

I also do not have my act 4 character yet, for that matter. You didn't send it, did you JoeBruce?

With the act 3 deadline of Jan 1, I guess I thought we would be holding off on act 5, for a quick catchup, for those that had yet to recieve act 4.

With the holidays, and all.............



 
I am not sure if I posted that (probably not), but I have finished my A3 character HD and sent her to Hoop few days ago (well it was probably the whole week). I haven't got my A4 character from Hp_Sauce, but I think he mentioned something about being available after the new year?

BTW. Does somebody knows what characters I am going to get in act4 and 5? I really hope there is no melee char because I don't have appropriate gear (and game skills) for them. Or maybe melee character for A4/A5 isn't that bad as for A1 Hell.... :scratch:
 
OK....Kenyon lives, and is in the safe portion of act 4, with her Soulstone. En route to Freekje.

No drops for my HC grail, that I thought I might get.
 
I have finished off Diablo with Bishop and sent him on to Purple_Locust. I was looking forward to playing an Assassin in Act 5 NM (NOT!!). Then I noticed that Ai bit the dust a while back. Unless I missed another RIP, I will be blessed with a Barbarian (Tennyson) in Act 5. I guess that is better...maybe.

I haven't finished my act 3 character yet (GertrudeStien). She is a Jav zon and I have no javalins, that combined with the fact that I hate act 3 are making things go rather slowly. I've been running around poking everything with a Razortine so far. Fear not though, she will come!

1 Spear + 1 Quiver of Arrows = 1 Stack of Javelins
Mainly for Amazons that are in need of Javelins to use with skills. Any class/type of Spear can be used.

happy new year everyone.

sorry to hear about the various deeds - not always when you expect it.

I've passed on Tennyson to EJB for act 4 nm, as well as Sidney for act 5. I wasn't sure what the situation was with who had what, but it's always easier to delete if you've got something twice.

I also like the idea of the 'screw up the next one completely', aka frost/butz inspired strategy - anyone else ? Sounds like fun and short-term at that.

Milosz has completed act 4, and is being passed along to the next player in a moment. Nothing eventful... except for a terrible bit of crafting luck. I crafted seven items after completing the act, and only one is useful at all... and that one, an amulet, ain't great. Oh well.
 
Dickinson has been sent onward to hp_sauce, and I've got Bishop ready to play through Act 5 NM and hope to get a chance to play him shortly.
 
Falling behind slightly... Haven't sent my Act3 character (Jarrel) on yet, but he is at the travincal so it won't take long for him to get through that red portal. I've also received my Act4 char, and it shouldn't be too tough getting him through hell.

Yep, I definitely could have done that, too bad I've finished with her now, oh well. I guess I should spend some more time learning cube recipes.

I finished Act 3 with GertrudeStein and sent her to Hrus just now. I have also safely received Eliot (Act 4) from CB, and my Act 5 character from Purplelocust (I haven't opened her yet but she is in my inbox so I'm sure it will be fine).

I just finished Act 4 with Eliot and have sent him along to Hrus as well. My hotmail account is acting a little funning so let me know if you have any problems Hrus and I'll re-send them with my gmail account or something.

I've never played a Necro that was built like that before, he was quite a lot of fun!

Getting close to Hell now! What's are present going to be Skunk? I trust it will be at least $1000 USD at least... right? :)
