I don't think you're a bad player. Everyone brings a unique personality and style to our games. You are very good at putting people under withering pressure so everyone can see how they respond. I think the only reason scum don't kill you sooner is that you haven't honed that withering pressure to be pointed at scum more often than not. Once you do, I have a feeling you're gonna start getting killed early because as someone who has spent time in your crosshairs, I can attest to it being quite impossible to satisfy you once you've formed an opinion, even if there's evidence contrary.

All this talk about maybe he will blow up and such, I've been blown up enough times it doesn't even hurt any more, parts of me are in so many games they won't be able to put me back togehter again.
 
Talk about ninja posting over each other. It wasn't so near the end of the day that either of you had to come in and put the hammer down. Now we hope there isn't a trap because our doctor might eat it in the face. *sigh*.

How on earth would me being the mafia godfather give me more information about someone else's mechanic?
 
I will also ascend if I'm NKed. Actually any kill will make me ascend (as long as I have voted every day, which I have). Drixx post seemed like he knew that. I asked once why I was the right person to take a possible bomb since it wasn't lynched. He repeated that I was the correct person since I will ascend to that question. I asked again and then he kind of acknowleged that I said it's on lynch. It looks to me that he was sure I would ascend anyway and only after my second question checked. I think he's the godfather because he turned up vanilla to BA which is what a godfather would turn up to a rolecop. I do believe BA at this point.

And please don't save me tonight, Laarz. I'd rather Numbers shot me tonight.
 
Because then you won't be able to a vote ever again, and I won't be able to vote tomorrow, so well be down two votes tomorrow. Lynch Dj makes 10, nk makes 9, I shoot you makes 8 who count, and I can't vote, so yeah...seems like a good way to ensure scum get to control the lunch tomorrow.

I've been a cop a couple times, and I don't get detailed explanations. I'm pretty sure at this point you are manufacturing a case that you know cannot be true logically. Noodle didn't share how the ascension mechanic worked and as far as I can tell skimming your post history, you only did so a couple posts ago. I have never seen an investigative role that gets a lengthy explanation of what a role does or how it works.

If you are telling the truth, Moar, a rolecop would get "treestump" for you or something very similar to that. I think the entire game would be irritated with a mod who gave mafia full explanations of how town power role mechanics worked. What you're suggesting just doesn't make sense at all.

After Noodle ascended there were only two base assumptions we could make. We knew that his death happened and that we lynched him. The question was whether any kind of death or just the lynch would cause ascension. Logically, at least to me, any death should cause ascension, but up until a few posts ago you didn't reveal that.

This is where I think sometimes you over focus on someone you think is scum. You think I'm scum so you wanted to see if I knew how ascension works, except there is no role in any forum mafia game that has ever been run here that gets that kind of detail about someone else's role mechanics. The only way I would know how ascension works fully is if I had that ability myself, and yet you are so intent on trying to catch me in a trap that you are positing some new mega-powerful investigative role that gets full mechanics results in order to make the case against me.

When your case relies on something that has never happened before and is highly unlikely to be happening in the current game, your case is probably off.

Also ... what's with you and numbers having the same discussion? It's like deja vu. Didn't you ask him already once why he didn't shoot and he gave the answer that removing too many votes could lose the game for town and then you told him it was a good reasonable answer and thanked him? I could swear you two had almost that exact same conversation before.
 
Drixx, I had that conversation with someone else, I don't recall who. It may have been in response to a quote from you actually? Not positive who, but yes I did lay out the reasons why it might be too late to start shooting because of the possible downside if I'm wrong.

I think you are trying to defend yourself too much by accusing me here. "Ascention on death" would be enough information for you and your scum team to know that I would ascend on a bomb also. And that is not anything that's unreasonable to get as a result for a mafia investigation.

And for Numbers. I never had that discussion with him. I did not trust him and I still don't (though I am more inclined to believe his role, just not his agenda). You will have to dig up the post where I thanked him if you want to prove me wrong.

You and I had a similar conversation at the start of today, which may be why it felt so deja vu to me, but I thought there was a conversation yesterday. I looked at your post history and didn't see anything that jumped out at me so maybe I was just having a bit of deja vu from my own questioning of you.

Se post #1257... I had a very similar conversation with him at the start of the day, which seems like an eternity ago. I think that's where the deja vu feeling was coming from.

I'm not accusing you at all. I'm pointing out that to my knowledge there has never been an investigative role that explained mechanics. Your claim is that death causes ascension (which if it follows Noodle's pattern means 1 day out of game) which results in treestump. I actually wonder what Bad Ash got as a result for you because I would expect it to be treestump but I don't think that's what he claimed...

But what I'm saying is you are positing that I'm the mafia godfather and that I knew how your ascension works because of some investigator, but we've never had a mechanics investigator that I'm aware of. There would need to be some new role for me to have known how your mechanic works OR I would need to have ascension myself in order to actually know how it works.

Me making an assumption that someone with ascension ascends upon death, on the other hand, takes zero info at all. It just requires me to have made an assumption.

I wasn't attacking you before, but rather trying to point out that your case against me required some pretty unlikely things. But now I need to go back and see what Bad Ash said about you because unless my memory is really playing games with me, your claim and what he claimed about you don't line up, which means one of you isn't on the level.
 
Bad Ash claimed he received no results from investigating both Moar and Noodle I believe.

Numbers, this might be obvious, but if DJM survives, it's probably in our best interests that you shoot him.

I don't see why you wouldn't get "treestump". Ascension is the means by which Moar would become a treestump. I understand getting no result for noodle because until he was killed and ascended he didn't have an actual role. He only became a survivor after his ascension.

Moar on the other hand already has the treestump role, according to her claim.
