As for me, don't worry yet, I'm camped out in an abandoned water
tower with enough ammo to last me a few nights. Focus on getting
someone more important first.
One other thing I would love to get into forum town its hard work
playing survivor out here!
Val has no idea what any of the roles do. I can prove he is wrong about the scout AND scavenger if need be.
Gory would've had Noodle lynched IF he
got that post in a minute before TC. now, with Noodle being a veteran
mafia game player, i don't think he'd kill Gory because it would've
looked bad on him; vengeful kill. so unless Noodle is mafia and did
take that chance, it could be possible someone is framing him.
Keeping zombies at bay.
I sent you a PM regarding my role and my
choice of action last night, but I think you didn't read it. How do I
know your Inbox is full?
Oh the arrogance. With posture like that you should get NK'd soon, very soon, and if you don't what can we deduct from that?
Also Feysal you still haven't explained what you meant by tunneling? I'm still surprised you voted to try to get a lynch yesterday.
didn't read the rules very well, which would by itslef indicate him being mafia,

If there are 3 players of each basic role, then there are 15, add up the 4 mafia, a special role, plus 5-6 civilians, it's 25 or 26 individuals... but you forgot the game started with only 22 players.I can see 3 of each role, 5-6 civilians, 4 mafia, and maybe a special role (SK, cop, small but nonzero chance for doc, etc.)
I'm pretty sure I caught his role claim before you did, as a matter of fact, he made the claims more than once, and I know for a fact his role literally changed between day one and two. I had taken those into account when making my role list and coming to the conclusion Sathoris is a Mafia goon, as well as Nurman, Zhao and Trionth. You didn't. But as I said, I feel Gorny made a roleclaim, and coupled with my personal view on the game so far, I'm 100% convinced that if he is not lying in his roleclaim, you are wrong.
I read the entire thread several times, used a table of possible distribution (how many players per role), tried to find every claim in the thread, both by direct statement and by the content of particular comments, and started ruling out which players didn't seem to fit into one or another role. If it seems I'll get lynched, I'll post my findings. As for Val's post in 308. Oh good grief, the only saving grace is that it didn't contain algebra. How did you work out everyone's roles on day one? Seance with Uraj?
I was re-reading the entire thread, to correct my super noobish role list and as you can see I made a post, to which I'll add I also know (or believe) what your role is and whether you are stranded in the city or residing as a citizen in the house. I also thought Laarz might be from the Mafia, but I don't have enough evidence to be sure... he could be a stranded civilian too.Laarz, Noodle, and Val were all here for most of an hour (and Laarz and val are still here) and haven't posted anything here. You'd figure Val would have something to say in his defense, unless he knows that he's scum and opening his mouth will just incriminate his scumbuddies more. And Laarz hasn't posted since yesterday, and is (still) suspiciously quiet.
Asrrin, I log on when I get to work, and keep it up pretty much all day. Much of the time it's minimized while I'm doing actual work. When it's up, I'm not necessarily viewing this thread. There are constantly spambots to research and ban, the newcomer forum to keep an eye on, etc.

I'll throw a wild guess: We know the game started with 22 players, and from what I've read, the Mafia tends to constitute a quarter of them, which in this case would be 6. Since it has been stated there are civilians and apparently a doctor role, I'd say there are 2 players of every starting role, which would leave 5 civilians. Despite being my first Mafia game, I believe I have a 68% accurate knowledge of everyone's role; at the very least, I know for sure who are both soldiers, both scouts, the citizen scientist and one of the scavengers. Therefore, I've decided to claim my Not-Mafia role... Why? Because I just learned the Mafia members know each other and have contact at the night phase, so it's useless to pretend that I might been of them due to them already knowing my alignment.
Moreover, I've come to the conclusion that Sathoris is a Mafia goon; he has been particularly aggressive to players who pose as neutral, with the apparent intention to make them seem as scum while being reluctant to be thought as one of them, hence trying to save himself by misdirection. I've chosen also him by ruling out the citizens and stranded civilians.

Night action would suggest he's either mafia or he's a townie inside the fort. Unless he's the mafia hitman, wouldn't a more experienced mafia member be sending in the night actions to avoid gaming faux pas? But that would be assumming the mafia don't have additional power roles.
Val mentioning that he knows a couple of roles, I was thinking that it's possible that the townies inside the fort may form a type of mason group? Or would that be too unbalanced for the town?
Therefore, he has a night action, and he's not inside the fort. ergo, scum!
I think we are barking up the wrong tree with Val.
His theories over who is or is not mafia may not be correct, but the fact he let slip he had a role which required PMing TC on Day 1 makes it more than possible he has a town power role.
This is pure speculation, since I've never played a Mafia forum game before, but from what I've seen from the statistics (Post #3):
° Soldiers provide additional defense, helping lowering Zombie threat or helping scouts or scavengers by protecting them in their quest.
° Scouts have a chance to bring an additional member to the house or finding items to increase survival.
° Scavengers find food, items or weapons for the citizens.
° Scientists research, perhaps increasing food management, morale or defense.
° Engineers produces weapons, defenses, extra housing or repairs vehicles (who may help with scouting or scavenging).
