Ah and ive compiled a Top 5 zealot list on West so far..

KillingPal
Budwiser
ReVoLuTiOn_MxR
Xi-Holyzealot

those are in no particular order and it could be Top Ten, if rees(or liqu1d) has any to add.

You are either better, or you arn't.
Some people have gear way godly then me and some days i 10-2 them and some days they 2-10 me.

But gear helps alot but until a "level" the increments dont help too much.

i dont know im stuck between v/t, another zealot build or a rabies/fireclaws druid....

stoutnail and the others

are you on ladder or not? Id would like to test my zealot that i have to put together in 3weeks for a tourney

we are on non-ladder, uswest that is, if you wanna duel or just hang out you can whisper me, i will be only mostly at night but sometimes ill log on during the day

*liquid_goat

My friend on ladder, I told him what to put on to test some stuff and he ended up with these items:

guillaumes face(29ed/15%ias)/magnus gloves
upgraded ber'd shaft
upgraded um herald
verdungos
angelic ammy/ring
ravenfrost
up'd gores
etheral zoded death cleaver

his charms are combats and ar/max

boy i tell you guys what, never doubt the power of the deadly striker. This setup gets the 95% max, has 46% fhr, and pretty much rapes through every thing else. He even beats my v/t sometimes.

(this post is an attempt to get people to quit laughing at guillaumes face)

(this has been a public service announcement)

Guillame's/Magnus combo rocks, can't say I've seen anyone laugh at it on this post. Anyway, what realm are you on ink? If you're on USWEST feel free to drop by Temple after the ladder reset.

thats exactly the gear i am changing to my pally, although the combo only adds 35 to life as a bonus, if thats what you mean. i want ladder to end so i can get any death cleaver!!!

Has anyone thought of dumping the rest of ur skill points(after maxing Fanat, Zeal, Hs and sac) into Smite? I'm not quite sure if this is good or not but it seems like something to try. Unfortunately I'm already set to rebuilding my zlot and that'll be long enough during the summer. thought I'd get some input first. Thx

Yes, that build is known as a Smealot. xpumafangx has a guide somewhere that talks about how to make that.

How's gris set for zealots? I know it has some disadvantages but it's certainly unique........

Caddy Lo+Lo+Lo+ed/max (around 160-210 weapon damage)
Highlords
Helm (ed jewel * 2)
Armor (3 ber)
Shield (3 ber) or helm 2 ber and shield ber/um/um if you need resist
crafted blood belt
wartravs (already got 90+ deadly)
ravenfrost + some other ring
steelrends or bloodfists

Good damage with good attack rating, and an aura :love:

It may lack defense though. What do you think? You could also 4LO the caddy and use gore's + angelics maintaining 90+% deadly.

I haven't seen anyone make a successful setup with a Griswold set as of yet. It seems to be geared more towards smiters. However, with all those open sockets the potential for a good build exists, provided someone has the funds and the patience to experiment around with different combinations. It has been my experience that the build lacks defense no matter what one does. Nonetheless, if you make a good zealot with that set, please post it here or meet me in Temple sometime and we'll try it out.

Hi Stout, I have a couple questions for ya. First: would you take a range 1 weapon over a range 2 weapon? Razor's edge is looking really good to me right now, because of the nice deadly strike and open wounds, along with IAS and -33% target defense. However, it is a 1-range weap. Will this put me at a disadvantage against range-2 or 3 weap users? What about against other classes, like WW barbs, assassins, druids, etc? Also, I was wondering how much damage open wounds does. I found one formula which said it was somethin like (lvl * 9 + 60) / 225 * 4 * 25. At lvl 80 thats around 200 dmg, or less. Which becomes about 35 dmg in PVP. How is that any good?

Clvl=1-15: (9*Clvl+31)/256
Clvl=16-30: (18*Clvl-104)/256
Clvl=31-45: (27*Clvl-374)/256
Clvl=46-60: (36*Clvl-779)/256
Clvl=61-99: (45*Clvl-1319)/256

Per frame, *25*8 for total.
Cut to 1/4th against players, 1/8th with ranged against players. 1/2 against bosses etc.

That's what AS says and the numbers it produces seem to mirror what's happening in the game.

Wow, well, if that is the case, then it's definitely worth getting, especially since OW dmg can't be resisted (or can it?) I mean, even at level 70, thats like 300+ OW dmg per frame... thats a lot of damage.
