Hey nice work here ^^. I'm building a ghost atm and I have a few questions.

1. Is 60% clawblock the cap for the skill? If it isn't is it worth it to invest more points into it?

2. Atm the only piece of gear I have that gives dr is enigma. In order to achieve max dr I would have to max fade. Do you recommend doing so?

3. This question is more for clarification. I recently obtained this claw : http://i96.photobucket.com/albums/l195/Rynefire/Screenshot003.jpg. If i was to use this with a chaos gt I would need 40 ias to reach 9 frames trap correct? And if I tried weapon speed bugging the claw i would loose the benefits of fools mod in my ww ar right? Thanks for your help :) .

60% is not the cap, but getting higher requires quite a few skill points and is generally not worth it. You should put the points elsewhere.

2. yep, the build allows you to pump fade. remember that if you cast fade with cta side, you'll get a bonus of 2-3 extra skills.

3. GT + suwayyah = -15 AWSM, which requires 75% IAS for 9 frame traps. it's much too slow to be efficient. if you WSM bugged, you'd need 19% IAS. as for whether the fools mod affects WW when its secondary, i don't think we've determine for sure. but regardless, i wouldn't use the rare suwayyah, mainly because it doesn't reach the 4 frame WW bp. you want to load up on open wounds as much as you can, so wasting that claw socket on a shael for the BP would be a waste. i'd much rather see you find a fast fools claw and bug with a chaos suwayyah.

from what you can see on max' fools test vid, it doesnt work on secondary.

it's not 100% certain but to be sure it works i'd always take a fast fools primary.

there was something weird at the end where it started hitting in chains, and so i was wondering whether the "primary claw" switched for ww when it switches the claw it depends on for calculating the hit checks (some bit of randomness because he started his whirls from far away). max said he'd get to it but i think the interest on the matter died away before we got to it.

i just watched the video again, and it seems like even having fools on primary wasn't increasing the hit rate. GARRR BLIZZARD

Why doesn't someone change the fool's mod to give like 1k ar/lvl, and try against a 300k def character? Seems like someone good at open bnet could set it up :p

thats what he did

oh, it did but in a way both claws were affected.
the hit rate when it was 1 fools/ 1 regular was not even close to what the hit rate was when he was just using 1 fools, so it makes wonder if fools is even worth it.

From anecdotal experience, the fools helps a lot vs a fury for high defense characters. I can probably test the primary/secondary on realms, I'm pretty sure I could test the difference, but it might be a little less clear.

yea i always switch back and forth between those two claws because i can't figure out which one is better. i got on loader and just beat up on a paladin of mine with both claws, and sadly i couldn't tell a difference between the hit %

depends on your build but sure, thats the point :azn:


my build however almost completely ignores phys dmg (so far, im thinking about trying a phys dmg setup) and my fools got 50% ow so for me it's not so much worse than fury

i think even with just 1 CM, you can feel the difference between having a fools prefix and a cruel prefix.

yes, however I'm not using hl nor any ed jewels no gores or whatever.

I might feel the difference but not that much. still I do of course want the maximum amount of damage possible and if fools didnt work out as it should at all i could and would use fury.

ok I will just test both claws in pubs and against high def chars subjectively and see whether I can see any difference.

haheahehae no since I got a decent fools, but on the other hand in real 1v1s I'm using fury vs everyone apart from palas (and barb - where I use w/s) anyways =]

Im abit confused about the whole wsm bugging part.
Would it be possible to use a Cruel eth warfist of evis as primary and then any chaos and still reach ww/and trap bps?

The warfist would have to be the primary claw as im making a physical ghost
