What mobs do you target

Hey guys,

Whenever you are farming for either runes or items, do you target all the monsters in the area you farm?
Do you ignore the regular ones and target only the minion packs? Maybe only the boss of the pack?

I am quite obsessed with clearing most times the whole room because there's always that though whispering that if I leave a mob behind I may lose a precious drop.
But obviously it's time consuming and not effective.

Well in fact the only area I usually have this feeling is Hell cows...beside, I go boss and champs, except for survivability reasons, that includes making the xp bar progressing a bit regularly.

I have to many bad habits and I need to fix them.
I usually even waste time collecting items to sell for gold if my stash is not full.
