Hey guys,

I've been away for quite a long time in Spain and haven't had the opportunity to check back on the SPF. Of course, my greedy gaze fell first upon this thread and I began to wonder if it's normal to ask for items now. Before I left, that would have led to a harsh rebuke (or a friendly one, depending on the way the request had been uttered). Anyway, I wish everyone who reads this a merryful day :wave:

IMO, this was unnecessary, Milamber. No offense, but I don't think this is the way to treat the issue.

Seriously, though. This is not the "give me this!" thread. the people who are giving stuff away here are doing it out of pure goodness. asking for more is severely treading over the boundaries of tact.

There's a point at which you need to work for more items. This thread is to get you started, not to outfit you for endgame. Sometimes, amazing items get in here, but that's because of generous donors. Do some work for yourselves. You'll feel better about it and enjoy the game longer.

And for those of you who follow decorum and check the donor lists and ask for items that they have, thank you. Best of luck to your MFing with your newly clothed characters. :thumbsup:

I was being saracastic and more than a little tongue in cheek.



I was not trying to upset anyone actually. I was hoping 99% of the Forum would see the humour in it…



I think this thread is a good idea, however, I have to choke back some comments when I see requests for elite items that seemingly grow off trees in the minds of people.



At the end of that day, I was having a joke, and there was no harshness in my comments.

About the Tyrael's Might...probably the easist way to get it is to create a character called Tyraels_Might, then prsonalise a sacred armour....

Just asking for something vague doesn't work since a) we can't read your mind and b) chances are low people will have exactly what you want. It's cool that you're offering up stuff in return; check out the trade thread somewhere on the first page instead.

It's not about going hard on the newcomers, it's just that, well...it does seem that nobody actually reads whats going on, and then its all gimme itamz! There is a fine line between asking and begging. Let's not all bicker, leave that to Strijdje and I! LOL

As already stated this isn't a give me items thread, its about people posting items they have which they are giving away. We way seem to be coming down hard on you - we aren't - just maybe read a little bit of what's happened.

Another good idea is to start and introduction post...they usually get itamz given away!
