Version 1.10 Trang Oul Set became a COMIDY!!!

TO set = you don't like it you don't wear it, end of story

I personally like it, it's bonuses are quite nice, now, if they'd only take out the life leach bonus and put in some magic find bonuses i'd be happy. (unless they fix the attack speed)

With bugged cast rate comes the bugged fhr, and the bugged attack speed I personally don't like, or I'd have a ghoul using a fleshripper to smack the living crap out of anything that came near .

my only problem with the set is actually the faster run walk. there is no way to make the dude walk! while this may not seem a problem, it is for my summoner. i find that when i walk really fast, my skellies get lost, left behind or whatever, and die, especially the mages and revives.

I dont' have that much of a problem, but I don't use mages or revives (poisonmancer). Let's remember the other bonus of the set - unlimited stamina just kicks ***.

Trang set provides a sneeky way for a bonemancer to deal with magic immunes! Wear the belt and the gloves. Keep your standard caster gear (ie Wiz/hoto +Homonculous or something) on one switch and another caster weapon (wizspike will help you resist wise if you do this) +trangs head on the other.

Now you can bonewall/prison them. Cast lower resist, whip out the trangs switch and burn em down! A lil slow, but your damaging them and lower resist will speed up the process

Trang's set is obviously geared more towards pvm than pvp, just like every other set on Diablo 2. So it's not like slow cast rate = your ***. Yeah it's an animation bug that causes it to cast slower than crap, even when hitting the 75% breakpoint. The mods are still very nice though overall & the mana regen comes in handy. Why whine about free skills off the firewall, meteor & fireball also? It's a free added bonus.
Don't like the set= don't use it. It's not mandatory necro attire. Just has some cool mods that goes with it. There is better but there's also plenty of necros out there that i've seen that is equipped with a hella lot worse. They coulda made the set baby blue like the old heavenly garb classic necros used to look like (Walking curse pansies )

all in all, i find trang's set still good as ever (even better than before i mean)... having said that tho, i find the vampire idea is alittle "flawed"... hmmmz... whether FCR is impt for poison/summon or not, it's still something good to have; after all, it's one of the beauties about trang's (FCR that's not tied to the weapon)... the others r such as awesome FRW, life replenish, mana regeneration and not to mention CBF since 1.09 days... in 1.10, the set's been enhanced even better but the FCR (a bug) became the bane of most trang users; i've been using trangs on me summoner so I can live with it...

i guess my only dissatisfaction about the new 1.10 trangs is the vamp look... trangs set is arguably the coolest looking set in the entire game (not to mention its usefulness), and the transformation just spoils all that (some of you may like it though)... and to maintain the old look, ya gotta give up one of the parts (either claws or belt) which is kinda forceful cos each trangs part is quite indispensable and provides really good mods... *sigh* i guess blizz should've given players a choice whether they wanna morph or not... unfortunately for trangs, the special fx for the other class-specific sets are totally awesome; being natalya's set the most cool-looking in 1.10...

if trangs didnt have the worst transformation ever (im sorry bu see through assns and glowing druids look cool [of course we would have an uber gloe not just a shiny light] ) it would be a very diverse and very very cool set... which it is... but it turns u ugly.

Anyway, the set sucks and you get laughed at for wearing it. I mean really, you're slow as hell with that gear on. Just isn't viable anymore.

Fair comment, but it sure makes things a lot easier.

I got somewhere into A3 with my Necro wearing bits of the Trang set and some other not-so-uber stuff. By the time I had completed the game I had the full set. I started partying with people I met in chat, who were needing help getting through specific areas. Couldn't believe how easily my Necro waltzed through levels I'd struggled with earlier, when wearing crappy gear.
