Specially since the bonehew would be very useful to my merc, since he's currently using the same polearm his former partner used: the only mod it has is 5 LL........... ugh (I haven't even found a SOL nor a 5 os polearm to at least make honor)

I need to play some more to take the pictures, unfortunately, my work almost doesn't let me!!! :rant:

I've been researching the names Atil, and I don't think it's possible to go beyond 25 letters in a name. There seems to be no first names with more than 6 letters, no second names with more than 7 letters and the longest thrid name appears to be "destroyer". I'm on the lookout for a first name with 7 letters, which would make a 26 characters name possible...
 
AJK: Glad you decided to join, I've added you to the list. The LNOTW prize closes on Tuesday and there are no entries for it yet. I think A_m and Tracul are being very tactical! Your 22 could well be a contender.

Rizzo: I think you're right. I'm not sure how the Double names work, but it may be possible to generate Death Destroyer, giving 28. I don't think Destroyer would be generated though, the double names are generally shorter.

@Tracul: I took a load of screenshots last night when running Andy. I don't think I will compete for this week's prize, since I haven't run into anyone(-thing?) with more than 22 letters in his(hers? its?) name.

Instead of hunting for this week's longest name, I tried to shoot series with a common theme. Since I'm a bit of a perfectionist, I sometimes put myself in dangerous situations just to get a shot that looks good. But the danger level was nowhere near as high as that of running up to a gloam/soul in Hell and asking for a picture and an autograph (props to the brave!).

Anyway, here is a series I took called Why my merc decided to leave me.
Chaos Snarl the Grim --> 17.
Sharp Hack the Flayer --> 19.
Bane Bender the Howler --> 19.
Gray Crawler the Hungry --> 19.
Gut Tongue the Unclean --> 19.

This series is not meant for the competition. I just wanted to show how much I like doing this.
 
After killing foul beasts like Gut Rumble the Hungry, Fire Eater the Cold, and Priest Eater the Unholy, imagine my surprise when I found this one:

Are my eyes deceiving me? (19 points?)

It really took me half a minute to figure out why uniques decided to paint themselves blue. Maybe it's time to take a break from this game.

Unfortunatly, this is a (obvious statement alert) Champion version of a "The Banished" and is ineligible according to Rule 4. Nice colour though.
 
Tracul's Viper Killer the Destroyer is the worthy winner of the Longest Name Of The Week and Atma's Scarab. A boss caught in it's death throes almost takes the focus away from the Unique. A superb picture.

To acknowledge the effort put in by all contestents to get these pictures, and to bring the tournament to it's end, Sigon and Gwinni will brave the WSK and Baal for next week's LNOTW prize (The XP will be useful anyway as Sigon tries to reach Level 89). Details as soon as something is found.
