These Stickies are Made for Reading Thread - Summer 2007 i

Hahaha!

Actually that look is determined by what helm you wear on your head.

Depending on your class you might not be able to wear the same helm I was. You can always choost not to display a helm you wear.

Most people hate those who play NE's - especiallt NE Rogues, thier stealth is harder to detect. Gnome Locks are cool too.

If you play Horde ...then I can kill ya

*just remembered the interface options menu. I really must take a look at that. :azn:
Play a dwarf. or better yet a Tauren.
It would be a Night Elf next, at least until I get the expansion. I'll have to do some more reading about classes available to those races again. I was thinking about a Warlock, but I don't think I can do that with a Night Elf. Perhaps Rogue or Hunter.

I don't care about stupid stealth. I still snap Elves like the twigs they are.

Elves are just pansies, and annoying in every work of fantasy they are in.

The last Tauren that tried to snap me like a twig got my two handed axe shoved you know where.

He still walks with a limp.

What class do you play, and I assume your main is 70?
Night Elf Warrior, level 70. It's in his sig.

I had looked through the guild link, and I saw one of those players in Ironforge the other day. Morales, I think it was. He seemed to be afk at one of the trainers.

MO is our Paladin officer and general recruiting person.

I don't have raiding gear at this point and haven't had the time to work on better stuff from high end instances.

But soon my puppets ...soon ;)

I'm horde, so I don't think you could recruit me

I will admit though that my post was largely to show off my gear. Not to brag (too much) but they were (and I imagine still are) within the top 2-3 percentile groups for best gear in each slot (with a few exceptions, most noticabley I really need the melee trinket from Caverns of Time: Dark Portal)

That settles it, I want to play again. I've sent some Facebook messages to old horde pals. If they aren't playing maybe I'll join the dark side and play Alliance with y'all.

edit: also, the stuff above about how good my gear is, that's with 1 Kara piece and nothing past that. and none of the new stuff from the huge patch.

This is one reason why I'm not spending the entire two weeks at home. I want some time to myself to just play games all day long without having to bother with work.

I was going to try to get a laptop beore I left, but decided against it. I might need the extra cash if something comes up during the trip there. If my mother or brother have computer/internet hooked up by the time I get home, you can bet I'll be installing d2/wow on it (the discs are in my luggage as we speak). Of course, my brother is going to kill me when he finds out I've been playing WoW.

I'd still be Horde, so I'm not sure what I'd really accomplish?

You would be able to play with/against atleast a dozen former OTF'rs.

Edit: I should mention that my current gear is what I'm wearing for general herb gathering, I have other stuff for tanking and resists.
