Weapons usually have the %enhanced damage, adds damage etc. Those mods on the weapon will do nothing for your smite. But there are items that have %enhanced damage,although they are not in the weapon,like fortitude or alma negra. This ed affects smite damage. The adds damage mod won't affect your smite at all no matter where it is.

That depends on your playing style. Most smiters use Fortitude for the 3X damage, but you could use Enigma and and tele just like a sorc. IMO it's not worth it unless you just don't want to build another character. Hammerdins, sorcs, strafezons, and summoners seem to be faster/better key and organ hunters. You could always get lucky and find a couple godly sorc and pally torches, but the odds are low.BeefChunks said:How profitable is torch running with a smiter?
