ok i followed the build for about a week now and my skills and gear is as follows:

my resistance is verrryyyy low and even with salvation im pretty sure i can compete with mephs conviction aura, so how can i improve on my pally?

I rolled a low % dmg one (for my Barb) and am wondering what to do with it?
Would this weap. be better on this pally?

Thx for your kind words. Is that a balrog blade? If yes it won't work since it is a 2h weapon...Any 1h oath has the potential to work nicely.

smite dmg = 385-1041

zeal dmg = 742-945

The first two things you should do is replace the 3 to combat skills amulet and that manald ring with an all res amulet and a mana leecher rare ring with resists. And I think you haven't done anya quests. Given that your exile gives 43 to poison resists and your duress has another 15% that gives you a total of 58% to poison resists. If you calculate the nightmare and hell penalty that drops your resists to -100% when naked, you seem 30% all res short.

wouldnt replacing my comb ammy decrease my dmg, (oh ya it has a 8% mana leech)

You don't use +combat ammy for the damage. It marginally increases it at best. For damage, highlord's is unbeatable. However, for uber hunting, you probably need more resist than that, so you should just sacrifice your damage for resist. Anyways, if you cannot gather enough absorb gear or 75 resist after meph's conviction, I strongly advise against uber hunting. I have seen quite a few people dropped like flies when they tried to do that with poor resist.

A fully synergized fanatic zealot gets a total of 18% ed from such an amulet...Not worth it.

For ubers get plenty of light/cold/fire resist charms. Since you are using duress and gores your cb is at 30% which contrary to what most people think is sufficient. You can use a kira's to help your resists.

Depends on the rest of your gear really,but for metalgrid to have a meaning ,try to get one with 30-35 all res.

fire res 52

cold res 59

light res 70

i am lvl 85 so im goin to have some left over points, do u think i should put some in salvation?

I have invested one point in salvation just for party purpose. I don't use it in tristram though,I prefer the full overstacking way. But If you can achieve a fast smite without fanaticism,salvation is a good choice vs meph. (Useless vs the other two).

I have a 7 frame smite with salvation and it was enough to deal with meph, with or without grief. So, might as well stick 1 point in there and use it against mephy.

nice guide I'm just wondering what would be best layout of the zealot 1pt smite for a non-ladder player.

as i havent got a clear clue of what items

got amulet and rings. just not sure on other items especially weapons

Ok, my non ladder uber runner is using coh/exile/guil/gores/metalgrid (ok this one is ladder only ,but anything with resists works here)/stormlash/steelrend or loh (depends on my mood).
