No problem, really... I was jesting.

At this point, we are just waiting on EJB and Billybgame to finish act 1. Everyone else should be in act 2. That means we're pretty much back on schedule... so please, feel free to send along your act 2 character when you complete their journey, but do not start act 3 until Saturday. That way, hopefully, we'll all be back in the same act again.

Character received. After a quick overview in ATMA, he doesn't look that bad. Besides, I have some decent gear for him - including the probably one and only time I get to use Jalal's Mane. In the meantime I'm still in Act2 though... so the anticipation builds.



 
Milosz made it through NM act 1, and is en route to Freekje. Way too many Tower runs, just to get a Sol, but we finally did it. Got a Dol and a Hel out of the deal, too.

Realized too late, that I still needed to imbue. Wanted to find an orb, for my upcoming Sorc's, being all I have are two handed staves. I searched high and low, through way too many areas, to no avail. Gave up and did a war javvy, that didn't give any skills. Oh, well.
 
I started GertrudeStein last night. She has a nice mix of skills so I see no worries for her unless I get overconfident. Funny thing was that I didn't do any countess runs in Act 1 because I couldn't be bothered, first thing that drops in act2: Shael. Nice! This should be a nice easy trip for her....

Eliot (necromancer) has completed Act 2 of NM. A post mortem was collected with 3 screen shots of the Skill charts. No more for poor old Wolron to do for the next four days except finish off the "Six of one, Half Dozen of Another" tournament. Hmm, I wonder if any other tournaments have started. Maybe I'll check and see, or maybe start one myself, or maybe...

I'll not send Eliot until the notice is given to begin Act 3.
 
@JoeBruce. I didnt mean to sound like he was a total bomb. I can see certain areas of the game being pretty tough for him is all. I also didnt have very good gear for him.
 
Notley breezed through Act II. I have noticed, however, that some people must be going p1, because some characters I have gotten are unusually low level. Put three levels on her before reaching Radament.

Fun stuff, she has been sent.

BTW this tournament has kept my interest FAR longer than any other tourney.
 
Frost has completed A2 NM and has been sent on to crazy_bear. I await Eliot as I progress down the alphabet... Robert Frost isn't exactly an obscure American poet, so I'll forgo the obligatory excerpt and just mention that he's the first poet among those I've had to play so far whose grave I have visited.
 
Bishop has squashed the bug and is stripped and ready to send.

Was a pretty uneventful journey really, except for a pretty high rune (for so early in NM) dropping for me in the Valley of Mages (I'm having a mind-blank...whatever it's called after the Summoner and before the tombs)...I've actually forgotten which rune it was now (been a loooong week!)...it was a couple of days ago and I need to look in my stash, but I think it was an Um, I'll confirm.

OK, I will send Eliot. Good news: you can plan his equipment and his skill progress in Act 3. Bad news: You have to fight that temptation to play him:evil:



 
Olga has been sent. Notley looks like she'll be fun. For the first time, I actually had to make a real equipment choice... so far, things have been somewhat obvious. But I have two weapons that suit her skills, and it's a nice dilemma to have for once.

No problem, I can fight temptation easily! Certainly more easily than extra-strong multi-shot Conviction enhanced gloam bosses... I had Frost sitting there for a week before I got the green light to play him.

On the character level issue being discussed, this is the first character that I've got which is a higher level than the one I just sent on beforehand, which is understandable in this case.



 
Sydney completed Act 2 and has been sent on to Brak.

I'm pretty impressed that most everyone has made it so far. Act 3 NM is the halfway point. How many Guardians will we see???

Continued good luck to everyone.


Also, is it too early to start thinking about the next couple of weeks? I suspect some people may be traveling for the holidays, etc. (I'll be on vacation for the week following Christmas, be back home for a couple of days and then on a business trip for a week in January.)

Don't want to slow things down too much but I may be a bottleneck if I survive the next couple of Acts.

Good point, while for some people it's an ideal time to make loads of progress (and normally I'd be one of those), I'm away from about the 23rd until basically New Year's Eve. Sorry if I hold things up then...assuming of course I make it through next week's Act. ;)

I guess I should report now that I will be out of town as well from the 19th to the 3rd. I'll finish Tennyson tommorow or Saturday, and try running Sydney through Act3 at players 1 over the weekend as well (if given a go ahead that is ;). Then I should be a week behind schedule when I get back.
 
GertrudeStein has completed act 2. Well, more like shredded act2. She is a strong char that should last a while. She found each of a Hel rune and Shael in this act, which was very welcome as I didn't do any countess running. The big bug died and dropped crap. Oh well.

I am another one that will be away over christmas, basically from christmas to new years. It's beginning to look like it's a popular year to take vacation!
