Very impressive gear and stats overall. Level 88 is also higher than I have ever reached (I have cleared the majority of Hell on /p3 twice, that took those characters to level 87).

And no wussy area skipping, monster parking or -rerolling either. You are the winner in my book. :thumbsup:

I went against my principles and actually looked at the Demon Limb screenshot. That is a SICK weapon! Why can´t the regular Enchant charges affix have a level of Enchant that makes the boost actually last a while? :mad:



It´s been a long time since you got a tournament character killed, right? I know your Swordmistress lost it to a beetle in act 2 Hell. Any deaths since then?

Yes, it's a shame that higher-level charges can't spawn on yellows and blues. I found an Enchant staff during my troubles in the Icy Cellar. Level 1 Enchant is simply not useful in Hell. There should be a possibility for higher levels at later stages of the game, with a high level requirement of course.
On that note, % chance-to-cast items need an adjustment as well. 5% chance to cast level 3 nova is garbage in Hell, it should be level 30-40. Level 30 Frost Nova would be nice too, for a better chill duration.

Yeah. Indigo Lin, my CS zon in the Melee Blues Tourney. Act 5 Hell. Evil Urn Frenzytaur boss pack. Poor Indigo had no CBF. That one hurt. She was my strongest one-on-one p8 killer.

How many points do you have in Valkyrie and Decoy? When I played in the Tankazon tourney, I routinely pulled back the merc (he has a stronger "follow the amazon" behaviour than the valk has, so it was often easy to do) in almost every fighting situation involving more than 2 monsters. That way, the valk tanked almost every monster, leaving the merc much less harassed.

I look down at "fundraising" somewhere else, rerolling monsters (other than Ancients) and parking (other than absolutely unkillable bosses) but I still like your progress. Keep going!

I have maxed Valkyrie and Decoy, plus I have 3 extra skillpoints from my gear. I have also maxed penetrate and critical strike.. I have put a little into dodge, evade, avoid and pierce and I will continue to put points into those as I level..

I have a wand as secondary weapon with lifetap charges.. that usually keeps him alive.. unless I run into a group with more than 1 spectral hit.. He is stronger than my valkyrie, so I need him up front with my valkyrie to get through.

Anyway.. on the progress side..

I almost died yesterday.. I went down Anyas portal and fought off all the rot walkers.. then I went in to get Pindleskin and while fighting him and his group a rot walker woke up and sneaked his way in behind me.. didn't see him.. I felt him!! ouch.. I spawned my valkyrie beside me and threw a full rejuvi down my throat.. I managed to get down to the waypoint when I ran out of playing time :( So Nihlathak must wait for me till next time..

As for my gear.. I haven't found many items since my MF is low.. I did find Naj's plate and IK belt.. and those I wear.. besides that I am wearing rares and magic stuff.. mostly for resists.. My merc is wearing toothrow and guilliams face and a rare weapon.. I have thunderstroke in my stash always.. I am saving it for ancients and for Baal when we get there (hopefully we will)
 
Found some time to finish the Nihlathak quest.. Those poison vipers really kick some butt!! Was so "lucky" to get physical immune hell temptresses and psysical immune marauder (or how ever those are spelled).. and then of course the poison vipers.. Took me some time to push through, but I did eventually.. He didn't drop me anything interesting :( but now I can continue my way towards the ancients.. Glacial Trail here I come :)

Naj's Plate is a nice armor, I've never seen it yet myself.
Guillaume's Face is awesome for Act2 mercs.
 
Congrats on the Guardian(s), Shade and Wayne.

As for SecretZeppelin, she's cruising along quite nicely. I find myself very well acclimated to the full clear style of play, despite never having done it before. I've been playigin on /players 3, so I was 18 and change when I got to Andy, meaning that A). I had my trusty Shadow Warrior, and B). She was a joke.

I've been using BoS to whack things with a pretty rare Cestus I gambled, and using the surprisingly useful Psychic Hammer to keep things manageable in crowds. With my Shadow Warrior more than happy to drop the Hammer as well, leaving me to whack away in peace, I have high expectations for when this build turns into a quasi-Missionary via Mind Blast.

What are your skills and stats? How much life? What kind of merc and what´s his weapon like?

Some of the gear is nice, but it looks like you have neglected some parts. You could easily have bought a better helm (with 3 sockets...) and +3 P&M gloves.
 
Shopping and gambling for gear is often neglected I guess. At least I fail to look at the shops inventories most of the time when I sell stuff. I'm trying to change that, sometimes there are really really nice items for sale. Jiansonz of course is the master of shops :thumbsup: Quite natural when you are doing single pass chars all the way, perhaps.

Since my Pally died I started a single tree summoner druid, in A2 normal at clvl 25 right now. I'm playing him slowly and will max both wolves, the grizzly, HoW and then one of the creepers. A hunter accompanied by wolves most of the time. They kill really fast atm, but as always hell difficulty with PIs will be the real test. I don't know if I should officially enter him here, the action has calmed down and the tourney should not be kept open just for my char.
