Single Skill Tree Tourney

hello there everybody, is this tourney still open for a new signup? I'd like to participate on the fun if so :)

Cow king gave me Aldurs boots btw.. Cows are not funny when you have a ****ty merc and a little low damage bow :/

Some of the gear is nice, but it looks like you have neglected some parts. You could easily have bought a better helm (with 3 sockets...) and +3 P&M gloves.

I ended this game being level 84

Skills.. max on Critical strike, decoy, valkyrie, penetrate
Besides the one point given to get to a skill I have used 3 points on evade and 8 on pierce.

Life 947, strenght 167, dex 165

resists: 75, 75, 75, 9/35 (poinson resist depending if I use primary or secondary weapon)

The Ogre Axe I found for my merc:

Twohand damage 66-343
very fast attack speed
10% chance to cast level 3 nova on striking
35% increased attack speed
37% ED (from socket fillers)
204 to attack rating

And you are right.. I could probably have found something better.. but I am not good at taking the time to shop and to gamble. Anyway.. I got all the way through, so it was alright :)

I hear ya, Shadefallen. I also lack the patience to spend a lot of time shopping. You must have had some poor luck not to find a 3-socket helm in the field. Such masks and great helms usually will drop in Normal. But like you said, you got through all right, that's all that matters. :D

And got some decent war travs too!:clap:
 
I think we were the last of the original competitors. Although there are some new entries now, which is cool. I'll be working on my "All Alone" character. I'm the only one left in that tourney. Good luck to the new guys.

Corax hasn't set up a post where it is said that new players can't sign up.. If you want to join this tourney and want to clear it with Corax, please do.. but as long as he hasn't said that no more can join, then you are in..
 
Got some bad news on behalf of ShadeFallen....

I decided to upgrade her computer and it didnt went as I had planned....Her games partition got "lost" and I was unable to retrive the files stored on it - meaning her char for this tournament is lost along with the prizestash.... :(

How does this affect her participation in this tournament? Does it still count that she finished the tournament even if her char and stash is lost?

The sad thing is that I zipped the save game directory but I placed it in the root of the partition.....CRAP!
 
Back online again! It sucks so much :( I have to start over with everything.. Luckily I haven't played singleplayer that long, but still it sucks :(
