Character Name: Shai-Hulud
Character Class: Druid
Character Level: 26
Farthest Quest: Summoner
Farthest WP: arcaine sanct.

I progressed a little yesterday

Character Name: AvatarOfWoe
Character Class: Pal
Character Level: 31
Farthest Quest: Mephisto (what's the name of that quest again?..)
Farthest WP: Pandemonium Fortress

Have fanaticism now, but it still doesn't beat concentration.

Character Name: Passive
Character Class: Barb
Character Level: 36
Farthest Quest: Ancients Normal
Farthest WP: All Normal waypoints collected

With javelin in one hand and his trusty shield in the other Passive met with his Barbarian brothers the 3 ancients atop of Arreat. one close call with a whirl, stun locked by a thrower, and a dozen health potions later the last of the three fell. Onto the throne of Destruction.

Passive was working his way down the throne trying to find the way point, He finds the stairway down to floor 3 so I cast a TP, and continue his search to find the way point. He finds it uses it and walks through the TP in front of the stairs down.

At this point things go terribly wrong. . .

I clear the first room and a long L shaped corridor, I turn the next corner to view the next room and there I hit a pack of Death Lords, they seemed like a normal pack no bosses, champions, or anything special. However with 6 of them attacking and them having that nasty stun effect I realized I was in a very bad situation I had a close call went for a run drinking pots and chucking javelins I turned 1 corner was able to drop 2 of the beast, another close call I run down the long corridor more pots and javelins then they catch up 2 hits and I get DEEDS.

RIP Passive So close to finishing normal and yet far too young to die :(

The Valkyrie looked around. Where was her companion? Probably three maze twists behind in the jungle maze talking to Yanji. She sighed. She missed Azreal. She couldn't understand why the harpy hadn't asked the gods to raise him. She'd done it several times in the past. The only reason this time was different was because the harpy had grown tired of him.

She looked around for her companions, but still she saw nothing. She thought about calling out to them, but decided it wasn't worth the argument THAT would bring. Instead she turned her attention to the giant spiders that surrounded her on all sides.

They couldn't touch her. Oh, the tried to bite her and spin her up in their sticky webs, but she was a warrior of the gods. Her skin was blessed by holy energy, her armor had once belonged to Thor himself. She was untouchable. She stuck her spear through the spider that had cursed her. Then she reached down to the glowing chest.

It opened. The Valkyrie pulled out the first of Khalim's artifacts.

Suddenly a dozen arrows plunged into the already dead spiders. Several waves of cold energy flew past the Valkyrie's shoulder. The Clawed Harpy and Yanji were back.

"I found it!" The Clawed Harpy exclaimed, taking Khalim's body piece away from her. "Now, where did I put that town portal?"

Game play has been slowing down a bit... mostly because I hate the beginnings of act three with a passion. All jungle in maze patterns... oh well. Still playing on player8. Still not having many problems either. My Valkyrie kills everything and I just sit back and relax.

Sorry to hear about Passive, Uzziah. Loosing a character that late in the game sucks. I think I might die if my zon gets killed. So much hard work!

Also, I've been thinking about ditching most of my equipment for magic find. I'm never in melee anyways (unless I get tricked into it), and I might actually find some decent items.

Good luck everyone!

Character Name: Hidama
Character Class: Sorc
Character Level: 72
Farthest Quest: Sewers (hell)
Farthest WP: Halls of the dead 2 (hell)

Finally I managed to get myself killed.
Thinking about it i decided to try out another char (mainly since the guild wars server doesnt like me atm).
The question was what to make... I finally found a friend in the offensive aura pally.
Sure, the char is probably the weakest when it comes to survival, but who wants to survive  ?
Now lets hope I find loads of elemental damage charms...

After Diablo put up a bigger fight than expected, he fell without a single decent drop...anyhow...off to act 5 where Shenk and Eldritch both fell without much challenge...hoping to continue further tomorrow...

Hopefully it's not too late to start:smiley:

Sorry bout the double post, but I got to Act II today and felt it was needed
As of now I am feeling quite well. I got up to Blood Raven and killed her in a cinch. Then, I tuned it down to /p 1 and got the Stony Field wp, Dark Wood wp and the Scroll. After all that running (with decent amount of points into BoS), I decided to "Trist run" until I was 14 or 15. So I re-entered game and set it to /p 8 and ran Tristram a couple of times. At 14 I decided to tune it down to /p 1 and dart to the Black Marsh, skipping every monster again. Got the waypoint and set the game to /p 3 for the countess. Smooth cruising to the Countess. Set it back to /p 1 and darted to the Outer Cloister. Back up to /p 4 and I killed the Smith in another easy battle.

***Pee Break***

Ran to the Jail 1 waypoint and to the Inner Cloister in reasonable time on /p 1.
Tuned players back up to 4 and walked to Catacombs lvl 4. Turned /p back down to 1 and smoothly cruised past Andy, thanks to Cloak of Shadows.

In Act II I decided to call it a night after a long battle with Radament. Radament was unusually hard and longer than Andy.

Quest: The Summoner

"I had allways suspected they would come for me.
Although there was nothing written in the monastery's laws about handling unsanctioned charms and demonic machines the brothers had looked at me with spite normally only used on demons.
When they finally came and gave me my sentence I had already hidden my finest discocery far away in the flayerfilled jungles to the east.
---
Eight years have passed since they threw me in that dungeon.
No longer a monk, they released me into the world only because of an evil threat beyond the comprehension of their feeble minds.

First I was stranded in a small encampment filled with unsophisticated women. Forced to run errands like a fresh recruit I spent my first few days in misery.
After a while I heard of a demon queen called Andariel and as I opened my mind, I could feel her taint in the ether. Determined to use her filth to bolster my strenght I set out to fight my way through her stronghold.
A few hours later my steel flail stopped spinning and Andariel was no more.
---
After that effortless victory I proceeded to Lut Gohlein.
A city under siege of demons and filthy undead. This proved to be a perfect way to try out my understanding of the holy incantations of fire, cold and shock as well as a few runewords.
A few tough battles and many easy ones later I and my hireling made my way to a canyon of lost Magi where I could sense the presence of yet another powerful demon, just around the corner."

EDIT: It makes my eyes cry that I cant synergize my skills.

Farthest Quest: Kahlims brain
Farthest WP: lower Kurast

I forgot to switch to /P1 before enteing Duriels chamber, so it took quite a while to squish the bug. But I was rewarded with bloodfist gloves, which are a nice pair of low level gloves. It has been a while since Duriel dropped something useful for me.

Act 3 was a no problem so far. But for now Shai_hulud has to rest in lower Kurast, because his direwolfs are filled to the brim with flayers. Those brave fleabags need a little digestion break. *BURP*

Barbie awoke and stretched her weary arms. Although firing off thousands of arrows in the last few days was doing wonders for her muscle tone, her life was becoming rather tedious. Irritated at herself for wasting all that gold on a Bowflex when she spent all her waking hours repeating the same motion anyway, the disgruntled warrior returned to her mission. Splitting carver camps before her like waves off the bow of a ship, Barbie continued on through the Blood Moor and into the Burial Grounds. Blood Raven had a formidable army at her disposal; Barbie, being slightly more intelligent than revived corpses, was able to lure them out and handle them in small groups.

Emboldened by her easy victory, Barbie plunged on ahead and was able to once again rescue "the old dude who like, knows stuff." While on her journey, Barbie happened across an ancient book which told a tale of woe, the horrible death of a hundred virgins, so a countess could utilize their rejuvenating blood. Barbie stood over the book aghast.
"Blood isn't good for your complexion!" She cried. "I must work to right this travesty."
Hours later Barbie and Ilzan finally located the ruins of what was once a grand tower. Descending ever deeper into its sub-basements, Ilzan fell prey to demons innumerable times. After spending a fortune on resurrection costs, Barbie decided it was time to change things up a bit. After a deep discussion with Charsi on how "neato-burrito" Barbarians could be (among other topics such as Kashya's obvious lack of fashion sense, and like, how old could Akara really be?), Barbie resolved to "upgrade" her help. Ilzan, weary from his journey, thanked Barbie for the honor of joining her in battle, returned his gear, and recieved one last slap for a suggestion involving good-bye kisses. Shortly thereafter he wandered off in the direction of Lut Gholein, never to be heard from again.
Barbie's new companion, a strapping young barbarian by the name of Alaric, told Barbie he would "Make ugly-monsters go death-visit like herd-food," which she took to mean "I shall help you, fair maiden, for thou dost shine the sunlight of your gracious smile upon my weary soul; such bountiful gifts could never compare to the trifling sums of gold wrought by the demise of those foul beasts who dare soil my maiden's breathing air."
Alaric was able to peruse the local shops before leaving Harrogath, and Barbie bought him a shiny new toy to "play" with. After staring at the Rouge Camp's warming fire for several hours in deep thought, Alaric named his weapon "Flaming Flamberge of Flame." Although not very creative, it got the message across, and Barbie hoped it would fare well against the physically immune monsters she had seen wandering nearby. With the assurances of Charsi that Barbarians will make you go "Wow," Barbie set off again to slay the countess. The descent was steep and dark, but Alaric did his part in protecting "his lady," and soon the countess was no more. Barbie, sure that slaying this, the most violent of the three countesses she had met on her journey, would reap great rewards indeed, was literally sick to her stomach when all her efforts were rewarded with an El and an Eld. Such a pittance for so great a deed caused Barbie great distress, and shortly thereafter she decided to make camp for the night.

destroyer Shai_Hulud

I finished normal with /P8, single pass and full clear. Normal was no problem, but I am curious about the untinked performance in NM and Hell. We will see what happens when I encounter the first PI. My merc uses a pike with 5% chance to cast lvl 1 amp, but unfortunately amp and the blind effect of the ravens keep overriding each other. Also NM /P8 is a little to slow, I hope this improves as soon as a get a might merc, until then I will switch to /P5.

Is anyone else even still playing in this tournament? Well, anyway, Mephisto has fallen, just a bunch of crappy rares. Progress is speeding up a bit now that Holy Freeze and Holy Shock are both doing decent damage.

Diablo took a little while to kill, but he was kind enough to give me a much better shield, though I wish I'd had it before I fought him. The fire resist would have been very nice.
