Re: Recemmended Trapsin build?
Totally agree with Myk.
Lighting trappers are one of the best builds to start HC. Let alone if you have any idea what you are doing.
As for LI's, I prefer kicks, but untwinked, its not so safe to get toe to toe, so FB is the better option. Hell, if you really want to help a bit more, use a 1pt Venom and Blade Fury while your Merc/Shadow/MB/CoS helps to hold the LI still, and once one of two are dead, chuck a DS for the CE effect and it helps more then enough. I swear people don't think to use DS or something. Its one of the most damaging skills in the game, with even one point!
About Fade, yeah it helps for sure, but you could run without it if you know what you are doing. Hell, an Ancients Pledge Shield (Or 3 Pdiamond), 2 Anya's, And a Ort/Ral/Thul Armor could net you ~0 res going into hell. Now unless you are a moron, you will stay away from the elemental damage that can hurt you. Fade just makes it easier. Like said, no other char has a skill to help with res untwinked (well maybe CA) and they can make it through just fine.
Hell don't forget, MB has the convert to it, and while annoying sometimes, it can help with a monster pack. If I ever ran into a hard LI pack, i'd convert a few to help take the heat off my Merc/Shadow while I chucked FB's at them, killed a few, then DS the rest.
Hell, you can make ANY type of sin untwinked, they have the best utility skills in the game that helps them to do just about anything needed, twinked or not.
Oh, and to those who make it seem like certain things can't be done in HC without certain other things, Superdave's thread is thata way ---->
