DuckPond has slain Andariel, but sadly, Elly the Archer did not survive.
Zero uniques/sets, usable or otherwise, in all of act I despite playing most on P8. I think DuckPond may not be the luckiest duck.
DuckPond is shooting a Hunter's Bow bedazzled with a couple topazes and a sapphire. Wearing Stealth Armor, a Ruby encrusted cap, and a couple decent gambles for Boots and Gloves. Stealth'd Hard Leather Armor. Sadly, just a plain white belt and some unnotable jewelry.
Skill allotment is 19 points in Magic Arrow. DuckPond likes to shoot conjured arrows rather than the real deal mostly to save on arrow and mana management.
We are looking forward to a more prayerful companion with a healthier vibe than Elly in Act II. We've also collected an assortment of runes we're hoping to Cube up to fOrtify the highest damage 3-socket bow we find up until we can start collecting eligible amazon bows for more interesting crafting.
With no penetrate, no possibility 3-socket helms for the penetrate helm, and no Valk swarms of reviving enemies are a problem for the near future. Tentative plan is to maximize use of Slow Missles since I have it anyways, lean on Magic Arrow and *gulp* gearing, and later build up some cold skills when mana is more manageable.
