Poison stacking with Poison Nova???

I'm wondering... Does the damage of Poison Nova stack when you cast over and over? Like say you do 2k in 2sec with Nova, you do it 2 times real fast though, do you do 4k damage in 2 or 3 secs? Does it stack up?

Also if it does stack, would doing say poison dagger first then doing nova over and over work well in hell? Or should I even bother with Poison Dagger in Hell? Start useing Death Web instead of Blackbog Sharp?

No.

The poison with the highest damage per second will override the current poison.

For example:

Level 80 Poison Necro casts his Poison Nova that does 4.5k damage. 1 monster is hit with the nova and starts taking damage. Level 85 Poison Necro comes along and casts his Poison Nova that does 6.5k damage on the same monster. Necro #2's nova damage is now the damage being dealt to the monster that was initially poisoned by Necro #1. Necro #1's poison stopped dealing damage the second the moster was poisoned by Necro #2

That's how I understand it, at least. :/

But yeah can you still combo? Like do nova then poison dagger and that damage stack up? Or if i do say nova and then poison dagger and the dagger does more damage, does it just take over then?

If I were you and I had a Death's Web.. forget the Blackbog's.
Death's web makes for much greater damage with nova. which expands outwards.. obviously, Hitting more monsters at once, and if you get enough skills. Combined with Lower Resists.. you won't need the extra 20k or w/e of poison damage from dagger.
I do over 9k nova dmg with -118 to enemy rez.. it's beautiful
and quite.. "viable" for all you psnmancers pending.

With only ONE exception, Poison damage will *never* stack. Instead, whichever poison deals more damage per second will overwrite all other poisons on the target. Poison Nova will always be the poison that deals the most damage per second (unless you're adventuring with a Venomsin), which means that if you're using Poison Nova, it'll usually overwrite all other poison damages except for higher level Poison Novas.

The only exception to the "Poison Damage *NEVER* stacks" rule is Rabies, which can in certain very specific situations stack with other sources of poison damage (but never with itself).
