OT: what games besides LOD do you play?

Nethack- while it is old, it is one of the greatest(and hardest)games ever made

Age of Wonders
Heroes of Might and Magic III (all expansions) one of my all time favorites

My computer is too old for many of the games mentioned here.
 
I currently have installed:

Battlefield 1942 and Desert Combat
D2 LOD
Haegemonia: The Solon Heritage
Tortuga Pirate Hunter
Shadows of Undrentide
Morrowind: Bloodmoon

I think that's about it, I'm at work now and can't recall any others.

Most of my time is divided between DC and LOD :thumbsup:
 
At the moment? X2: The Threat (nothing to do with X-Men 2, it's a space trading and combat game) and Age of Wonders: Shadow Magic which I just picked up cheap. Next game to get installed is Beyond Divinity, but that's not until April (assuming it doesn't slip again!).

Don't think I'll get it, I've read what you've got to do to have it, and well... meh, too long. :lol:

Just like in FF10, getting to 255 stats for each chars. I've got Str, Def, MDef, Accuracy done and the rest... well I forgot which monsters drops which sphere and I haven't played a year maybe.

almost all playing time now goes to LoD but I play also these:

Bejeweled
Nethack
System Shock II (haven't played through yet)
Civilization III
Settlers III
UFO: The Enemy Unknown (one of the greatest ever)

I also play board games. I have two email Diplamacy games going on and a friend of mine arranges gaming sessions and brings whatever he has found in them; Junta was nice and so were original Zombies.

Flux is one of the best card games there is. But when playing socially with money involved, nothing beats chinese poker.

Besides LOD, XBox all the way. Halo, Max Payne 2, NFL Fever 04, the other games I have I played them like a week after I bought em and havent touched them since. Now that I look back on it, it was a waste of cash. :grrr:​
also, I have the whole series of Wing Commanders for my computer that I play sometimes
 
Well, My comp has 1.8 gigs left on it. So I can only install D2 and LoD. Im thinking of compressing my D2 folder into a zip file after I install it. I dont know if I will be able to, or If the game would even work. hmmmm
Needless to say, I only play D2.
If I get a new comp, and WiFi Internet, well it wll be a different story. Ill probably start playing on BNet, and maybe a MMORPG, probably Neocron. But then again BNet is free.
 
New to the forums, posting-wise at least - Hi all!

Of late I have been splitting my time between D2:LoD and Total Annihilation (UTASP and TLL mod), but I also play Homeworld/Homeworld2 and Close Combat 3. Being condemned to a 28.8 modem connection, I am unable to do any proper on-line gaming...
 
Soccer.

There are other no other games. Soccer is life. Diablo is how I pass the time between games. :thumbsup:

Actually, I make it a point to get 2 mastered Summon materia every time I play FF7. My setup when I'm fighting the Weapons is sick. Yuffie can usually take out Sephiroth in a few turns just by herself if she wants. I find that I enjoy toying around with him just to see him cast Armageddon. One creature I can never beat consistently in the FF series is Omega weapon in FF8. Even with my best setup, he is too fast and too strong to beat without a crap load of luck .. and that is with my main characters totally pimped out in their best gear.

I always need Riona (sp???) to get invincibility up (full moon? or something like that.. its been a loooong while..) consistently to stand a chance against omega. He is bada$$.

Ti-ben, the first time i played FF7, i didn't have the patience for anything at all. Then i went into .09 pindle running. On my 2nd round of playing FF7, i went to breed chocos and get cloud and tifa up to 99, and it was no sweat. LoD MF-ing breeds great patience. :lol:

And weapons are teh roxx. Emerald and ruby, of course. :D
 
For omega weapon just hit him with Doomtrain and his def wil be zero..even though the initial poison damage will heal him first..i was a HUGE WUSS before fighting omega..had holy wars + holy war trials + Heroes stocked up by refining my rarest cards..

Chaos Legion for some mindless hacking action
FF tactics advance
oh and just got FFX2 international version..maybe that take my mind off MF for a few hours :innocent:
oh and i try to squeeze in some time at the driving range once in a while..

I have a save file in FF7 where I've got almost a full set of Master Materia (2x Master Command, 2x Master Magic, 1x Master Summon per character). Sephiroth doesn't stand a chance :)

Omega in FF8 is probably one of the hardest beasties ever... my favourite strategy is just load up with Holy Wars and Aura/Aura Stones then continuously pound on him with Squall, Zell and Irvine's Limits. Of course you could just use Selphie's insanely overpowered The End...

Anyway, whilst I haven't really been playing D2 of late, other games I've been playing include...

Neverwinter Nights (+expansions)
Soul Calibur 2
Zelda: Ocarina of Time (finished recently)
