OT: what games besides LOD do you play?

i can't play any games at all atm, too much work
that's why no items to give away for d2, heh

i'm not really a pc game person anyway, more of an arcade/console gamer
d2 is the only pc game i've really enjoyed, tho i must admit i've never played anything else

anyway games i enjoy, if i do get to play are:

drummania
guitar freaks
kof2k3 (i prefer 2k2 more than this garbage, but to keep my friend happy...)

other than that, for the ps2, there was a pretty good game that sorta stuck to my mind... it had a nice storyline... what was it...

man i feel left out... seems i'm the only one playing arcades?...

Sacred.

Any D2 player will love this game. I don't know when the english version will come out, but the german version is great. The only important thing that Sacred lacks is ATMA

I have a save file in FF7 where I've got almost a full set of Master Materia (2x Master Command, 2x Master Magic, 1x Master Summon per character). Sephiroth doesn't stand a chance

Omega in FF8 is probably one of the hardest beasties ever... my favourite strategy is just load up with Holy Wars and Aura/Aura Stones then continuously pound on him with Squall, Zell and Irvine's Limits. Of course you could just use Selphie's insanely overpowered The End...

Anyway, whilst I haven't really been playing D2 of late, other games I've been playing include...

Zelda: Ocarina of Time (finished recently)

Argh! I got my games mixed up. I meant Omega Weapon in FF9 .. the huge ball in the clouds. Now, that is a tough enemy.

Civ2--one of the best games of all time IMHO.
That's actually 1/2 of my inspiration for my screen name. The other half is M*A*S*H. I love using howitzers in Civ2 and I love M*A*S*H, so I borrowed Maj. Houlahan's dad's nickname--Howitzer Al.

Good luck! It's easily the hardest boss I have ever fought in any game. Even with Shadow absorb armor, it can take out your entire team in less than 2 minutes. I just remembered that it's name is OZMA (just like the Thunder Ra-Seru in Legend of Legaia) and it casts nasty spells like Doomsday, Meteor and Death which are instant kill.

I just remembered that it's name is OZMA (just like the Thunder Ra-Seru in Legend of Legaia) and it casts nasty spells like Doomsday, Meteor and Death which are instant kill.

Bring along Eiko, Phoenix and as many Phoenix Pinions as you can find. Death is merely a temporary inconvenience then - you just keep getting auto-resurected (mostly - it's random, but having 99 Pinions means you're almost immortal). Then just keep using any instant-max dmg attacks (Thievery, Dragon Crest etc. if powered up properly), whilst healing your party endlessly.

Amusing side note - once, I had Eiko in my party during the final battle (against Necron), it wiped out my entire party except Eiko, who was Berserked and under Auto-Regen. She single-handedly wiped out Necron with just her little flute...

Argh, all that FF9 talk makes me want to start playing it again. I was doing good in FF7 this afternoon, got out of Midgar and did the Cloud's Past quest. Little Sephy gives me the creep. :thumbsup:

I Play Mostly Warcraft 3 - TFT online atm, getting a bit sick of all the whiners on ladder (heard that one before, have we) so I'm considering starting something else... Maybe go back to Age of Empire 2? Anyone else here who would like a game on the zone? (Requirements are about nil when it comes to connections)

I think my list of games won't fit , so i'll just say i play a lot of pc games , new and old high rated games alike. I'd really like to finally play mass effect 2 or dragon age, but my pc can't really run them , so i'll maybe buy some super high-end €1800 PC , but that's a bit expensive . I don't really know what i'm going to do, buy a high-end pc and be scared that you won't be able to run games in 2 years , or just keep playing new games on lowest of the lowest quality while i still lags like **** and eventually start playing on my ps3 again.
