Wish I could have found a better version of "I Got a Name" (My #1 of his) but as that's the one big hit for him he did not write and the only performance I know of is one on The Midnight Special in 1973 that I could not find on Youtube.

Metallica "The Unnamed Feeling"

One of the very few songs on the St Anger album that is good. Lars Ulrich's snare drum went a long way towards ruining this album for me. I have no idea what they were thinking with that snare. :weep:

Somewhat surprisingly, I liked all 3 of those songs Nagisa posted, especially the last two. Only somewhat, I guess, since I like a fair bit of kpop, but I'd never really heard much Jpop I cared for.

Anyway, as long as we're talking Metallica...

More Rammstein as I have been listening to them a LOT! Friggin awesome band! :yes:

This time a bit more mainstream in "Ich Will" and "Du Hast". Earlier works too. Mutter (2001) is still their best work to date imho.

Might have to check out Mutter, the only thing I have from them that I like is Rosenrot, but I really really enjoy that album.

It is nowhere near as good as Mutter, imho, so if you like Roserot you will likely love Mutter. I will say that they have a bit of a different style between the two albums.

Out of the albums I am familiar with, I would rank as such, from my most favourite to least:

Mutter
Reise, Reise (very close second fave)
Sehnsucht
Rosenrot

Herzeleid I am not yet familiar enough with to comment. Liebe ist fur alle da I am only very recently giving a proper listen.

From Rosenrot, cream of the crop to me are:

Benzin
Rosenrot
Wo bist du
Zerstoren

Does not knowing German change how I would like it? Add Feuer and Wasser, Hilf mir, and Mann gegen Mann to the songs I enjoy off of that album. Spring isn't bad either, but I eventually looked it up and found out it wasn't about the season.

I do have Reise Reise, just haven't listened to it a whole lot. The Amerika song kind of annoyed me a bit. I also have Liebe ist fur alle da, and not sure if I had even listened to it once. But it has given me something to do this week at work :).

I love how there is a guitar solo at 3:50, then the chorus kicks back in at 4:08 but the guitar solo still had some more *** to kick so he just spilled over into the chorus. It is definitely the alley-oop of rock. Always awesome.
