The video is effing awesome, and I just finished a book on Low, so this comes highly recommended. :yes:

Well, maybe not 'awesome,' but the bored look and half-hearted guitar mime just really capture the epic fail of the lyrics and all that. Good times.

What was the book about? The album Low? (just so i'm sure i understand)

Funny enough i have been listening an awful lot to that album.
My favourites being: Speed of Life, Breaking Glass and Sound and Vision.

But to be honest i like them all, even the instrumental ones. Besides Speed of Life.
It's just that i have listened to this album on and of so many times, that each time I get different "favourites".

EDIT: After a bit of google, that book seems to be worth a read.

Yep. It's a book about Low, and my only real complaint is its brevity. It's too darn short. Jeez. But it's definitely worth a read, imo.

(And my current favorite is "New Career In A New Town," though I'm sure that will change the next time I get on a lengthy Low kick. Good times.)

Yeah, i noticed you mentioning "The Idiot", in the daily.

Do you have some recommendable songs from that album? I really don't know much about it myself, besides "sister midnight.

I pretty much just discovered The Idiot, and only listened to it maybe 3 times. Check out the rest of the songs on that record. The YouTube should have most of them: "Nightclubbing" is pretty awesome (and I think it was in Trainspotting, in any case I heard it for the first time in around 1998 or so), and Iggy's "China Girl" is (imo) waaaaay better than Bowie's pop version. Pretty much a killer album all the way through.

I've heard Nightclubbing before. imo great song. Going to listen to the China Girl version now.

Btw do you know the song: "Lust for life" and "The Passenger"? Both from the Trainspotting soundtrack, and by Iggy Pop.
