was Cygnus a threat? or just unlucky? While cement may make walking difficult, better bury him with a bell and Book just to be sure. The last thing we need is more revenants.

Even if the real cop claims cop, that doesn't mean the rest of the town will believe the real cop is the cop, and since it is a no-reveal game, we wouldn't know the truth until the end. If the cop could have been proven through other means, ie reveal upon mafia-kill death, then that would have made other lynch considerations more viable and NIKON less of a distraction.

I didn't say that post confirmed me as a townie, I said I was a confirmed townie in my eyes.

As for making the final votes, it's a matter of thread record that I oppose no-lynches. There have been 3 too many no-lynches. I'll give the other townies the benefit of the doubt even if I think the lynch candidate isn't right, I could be wrong. By the way, I put the last vote on NIKON because you were distracted from reading his words while you were trying to vote him. I suggest you re-read his posts and make better sense of them. As much as I would have preferred not to lynch him, post 769 (probably a mistake) set my course. I'm sure that if he survived until the final lynch, the town would have lynched him and lost. I have the backbone to lynch, as the corpses of LORD NIKON and Sint Nikolaas will attest.


 
I'm sorry to hear about Cygnus.

Although quite a few people are still high on my list of suspicious people, there is only one who really jumped up. Two days ago Thyiad started the Nikon bandwagon to save Sint. The next day she tried the same thing again by starting one for me but this time unsuccessfully, nobody jumped on and Sint was lynched. Now in light of her earlier comment that lynching is just a bunch of scared people lynching because they can, if she would be a townie, it would make no sense for her to start a new train to save someone else, instead it would make sense to jump on the rolling bandwagon. Something she did do today (when she could not save Sint anymore) by voting for Jaago. In short, I think that Thyiad is mafia and Sint was as well. The other option would be that they were the mason-couple.

I'm having trouble buying this Nikon-was-cop thing, even if I assume that Rash was right about not distracting the town. The only way I can make that fit is if Nikon messed up big time.

This is all getting too confusing. Who's really mafia, who's not? So I'm just going to go all the way back to my first suspicions (again).

My first thought was to vote for Jaago. But then I thought about the "relationship" in this game between Goltar and Thyiad. They have been at each others' throats a lot, and there have been lots of odd accusations back and forth.

My suspicion is that either the animosity is baseless, or that it's an act. If it is an act, then perhaps both are mafia. If it's not an act, then there's at least a decent shot that one is mafia and one isn't. In any case, I plan to vote for one "today" and one "tomorrow," just as I did in the Sint Nikon comflict. (Unless, of course, something happens to change my mind, or I reach an untimely demise.)

So, why is there a decent shot at least one of the pair is mafia? If that is that case, which one is more suspicious based on his or her contributions outside of the feud between them?

I think it's worse than that. I think we've all developed our own personal suspicions and are stubbornly sticking to them. While the Nikon-Sint thing was going on, it was something that we all had an opinion on and with there being only two sides to take there was some united support for a lynch. Now with that focus gone we have a bunch of people each trying to promote their own agenda again, like horses tied to each other but each running in different directions. If this carries on we face more no-lynches and a wiped town.

I'm now a lot more suspicious of Moar based on how she's posted since my posts yesterday and because I've had time to look back through the thread and see how she's posted in general. Therefore,

GoHabsGo - Suspicious
goltar25 - Suspicious
Moar - Suspicious
Jaago - Townie
Everyone else - undecided

I'm actually not considering their actions outside of their feud at all. Their feud is what I'm suspicious of, and I think both are equally suspicious at this point as a result of that feud. Call it a hunch, if you like.

Sir Lister of Smeg: First I thought he was mafia but I'm not so sure anymore. Either way, I'm not worried about him at the moment.
Moar: Somewhat suspicious.
muzzz: I think townie.
Rashiminos: First looked like townie, but has become pretty suspicious, imho.
Thyiad: Town or maybe VI.
skunkbelly: Not suspicious.
SiTro: Townie.
GoHabsGo: Probably mafia.
goltar25: No idea, but certainly more suspicious to me than Thyiad.
water_moon: I suppose she is a townie.
CDRToast: Townie.
Jaago: I haven't changed my opinion.
 
True, I haven't posted... my work schedule has been weird the last few days(weeks actually).

hmmm Moar has been suspicious for a while now, but missing the chance at a lynch is rough... splitting the votes evenly 4 ways wont help anything...
