OT: The SPF Mafia Game Round Three

I agree with what Brak said, unless the mafia is being very foolish and they are not killing off the people acting like village idiots it leads us to believe that those people are mafia members.

I finding the debates you guys are having very humerus. Not really sure what to say about it because all of you involved are doing some suspicious things. I'll put some more thought into this and discuss it tomorrow. At this point the only person I am relatively certain about is revenantknight.

Fixed those for you :grin:.

Saw some misinformed posts and so everyone isn't confused, I called for a replacement for Drixx, because I hadn't seen him post in a while, but he posted quickly after and he has always been in the game. Neskja had computer troubles and was replaced by Moar.

I've had multiple questions about the doctor role. If the doctor does save someone, you will know they saved someone.

I'm going to edit in a vote tally in a min as well.

I believe it takes 11 votes to lynch. Also, when you cast a vote or unvote, do it on it's own line so it's very easy for me to see. I read through the thread as it happens, and post vote tallys when I feel like it or someone pm's me requesting it and it's much easier to see your vote rather than hunt back through the entire day.

I'd like to know what the two (Rashiminos and RevenantsKnight) whom I thought of as main candidates for village idiocy (or mafiosi posing as village idiots) think of each other.

It really looked as if Skoolbus had either from oversight or just to be evil put in two village idiots. Somehow I doubt that though, besides, if both Rashiminos and RevenantsKnight were village idiots I think the mafia would have killed one of them.

Anyway, I don't know whether I should believe Rashiminos on his comment that he's playing his favourite role, but I'd guess that would mean some special role, not just a townie, but he could be on the town's side. I don't think he is though.

On Rashiminos' guarantee that there would have been two murders, that argument is of course null and void as GoHabsGo pointed out. To me it looks like the mafia was late with sending a pm to Skoolbus and probably expected Skoolbus to wait until he got their pm before declaring day. Now I assume that the mafia wanted to kill someone that first night, but due to their delaying sending a pm to Skoolbus, did end up not doing so. I'm sure that Rashiminos would certainly have wanted there to be two murders if he is indeed mafia, but due to procrastination the first night ended up perpetrating only one so far.

I've got to completely disagree with this. RK has plenty of freestanding evidence that he is mafia. He certaintly doesn't need Rash in kahootz to look suspicious.

And most of Rash's mafia-like behavior has little to nothing to do with RK. I find his role hinting a but troublesome (i.e. yesterday hinted at witness) and it is a bit mafia-like to put words in other people's mouths. But there is no RK link.

@Sint, I think you just like to take on the most talkative person. Glad I'm not on vacation for this round:wink2:

Yes, I fixed it on my earlier post, RK has two votes. You're not supposed to edit yours. What I say has no effect on gameplay and I said I was about to post it, rather than double posting.

Ooh, the village idiot! Is that some new town office? I didn't even know I put in the papers to run...but hey, if I'm in the lead, yay for that! :grin:

Rashiminos is the other person I'm running against? Well, I guess that's good, because he's a good person, thinks about things plenty. That's why I voted for him; he'd do just fine in public office, I say.

And wait, mafiosi?? Where did you get that idea from? Wait, was that what all the voting yesterday was about?

...well good golly gee, I guess I shouldn't vote for him this time, if that's what this is about. We're voting for the bad people? How strange...I'll have to go throw some ideas at the refrigerator about this all now.

I'd still make a great village idiot, though.

You did indeed only mention Xduckster and Water_moon as likely townies. Jaago mentioned Thyiad, Cygnus, Muzzz, Rashiminos and himself as obvious townies yesterday. If you don't think RevenantsKnight is mafia, what do you think he is, village idiot or townie (possibly with another role)?

Oh and by searching for that quote by Jaago, I again saw your comment where you were asking when it would finally become day (during the first night). Now of course that could be because you thought someone else had communicated the hitlist for the night, but somehow I doubt that, so for now I'm less suspicious of you.



 
Nothing's sticking to the refrigerator. I think I'll try throwing around ideas down at the ice rink...it's colder there, right? This thinking thing is hard! Say, I don't see everyone from yesterday here. No one other than poor ol' Drixx ended up dead last night, did they? Maybe they were just up late and are sleeping still. When's the election for village idiot, by the way? I want in...

Ok, I'm yet to read the 40+ posts made in the last few hours, so apologies if this has already been pointed out.

If option (C) was really what happened, the voice of God (aka skoolbus) that RK was targeted but saved during the night.

Rashiminos is acting even more suspiciously, but part of me says we should give him a bit more of a chance. Hopefully the cop will investigate him tonight. My prime suspect is still Thyiad, but we really need to lynch someone tonight, so:

And skoolbus, I wasn't talking about things like how often a person posts or logs in, but more of their general personality that comes through in how they post. And knowing people in real life, and things about their personality. I'll keep them to myself, but I can't guarantee that it won't influence my actions.

What do I think of RK, hmm...

I don't think he's mafia or VI, just a townie trying to avoid the lynch. . .


As for the matter of late PM's on night 1 and such, I made a list of certain things (remember?), I'd been on often enough during the 55-60 hours of night one to have sent one lousy PM. In fact, I sent several asking rules questions. Only takes one mafia to make a murder...


 
Just want to reiterate my suspicions on Jaedhann and Moar. Moar seems to have a little momentum behind her at the moment, so:
