Just pooped in to say hello!
I'm with my gf now, and we're about to embark on a quest to make Christmas decorations. The rest of the day I'm gonna relax and recover from my injuries at work (it being so boring) and tonight I'm going home again unfortunately. It looks to be a terrific day if you ask me! Tonight I'll prolly have a bit of time to play some D2. I've been planning a tournament thingie in the near future, I have some crazy ideas hehe! Dunno if I get the time but perhaps...

all my friends have ditched me :hanky: every last one of them
this week, the week before it and next week are ''schoolies'' week. and all of my friends have gone away. the biggish group i sat with(at school) went up the coast for the 3 weeks. my gf has gone with 'her girls' camping bout 2 hours up the coast. although in a cabin. so camping for wusses. and my best mate conned an old friends of ours to come up but they are going camping up the coast as well. and then theres all the people that i know and talk have all gone this way and that.
and nobody invited me.
i know not important in the grand scheme of things. especially concerned with the problems people like grogs and simeonb have faced, just to name a few, but its nice to know people give a damn occasionally

December 1st is a good day! Thirteen days left of school, and fifteen days until I get to see my Guapa! Guapa is my nickname for my girl, it means beautiful/pretty/gorgeous in Spanish. :xgrin:

@Ash - you said "if its not zombies or pokemon...its kiera" so I figured you love zombies and pokemon. My mistake, although the reason why I like them also has to do with destroying them. Forgive the excitement in my previous post....I am a zombie fan...and one of the remaining few.
@simeonb - I just now got to your post and I offer my deepest condolences. I cannot imagine what you are going through at the moment, as I have never even been close to a situation like that before. I wish you and her the best of luck and I hope that she will have a quick recovery. On the job front I agree wholeheartedly with grogs....work in the grand scheme of things is meaningless....and if they are going to be an obstacle in her recovery because you cannot be there then "stuff them" for sure. Im sure with your work experience you will be able to find a suitable job elsewhere that has a much more flexible management. Good luck to the both of you. Feel free to come into this thread anytime to cool your nerves, rant, or discuss issues with the usuals over here. Support is always available via strangers text here.
@corax - I want to get a good picture of my dogs, or me fighting....Ill try and get one for you soon. As for the liscense thing....those rates are ridiculous..but I understand the reasons behind the rest of the restrictions.

@Corax - Dont worry about the friends bud...lemme tell you something about high school. Friends are a dime a dozen in HS, and in all honesty as soon as you graduate youll lose contact with 95% of them. I only have 2 real friends from HS that I keep in touch with on a regular basis...consider it a test of who your REAL friends are...IMO if they dont stick around or invite you to stuff they were never really your friends to begin with...and they arent the kind you want to keep in touch with. At Uni youll meet plenty of people...and it will be the same when you leave. Real friends are few and far between...so dont worry about being a lone wolf at times...its part of growing up. Im sure us married/older people will agree....we dont have much time for friends anyway....as our significant others/work demands most of our time. Hope that eases the issue a bit.

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! Good to be back home though. I've been pretty hard at it here at work the last couple of days...end of month.
I did level my Meteorb Sorc to 48 last night - untwinked. (Not the cattle sorc rD) :lol: I really enjoy playing the sorc.
@roninDog - How's your sin coming? Any progress? I can play anytime you want. I can play friday night but I can't do my normal marathon because I have to work Saturday morning.
Funny thing I was playing my sorc doing normal hellforge. I killed whatshisname and he dropped a dol. Cool. Thinking I'll get something close to that good when I smash the soulstone. Not. Dropped a nef. Ah well.

I have one friend left from high school (except he just walked out on his girlfriend of 15 years while she was pregnant so "friend" is too strong at the moment), one left from uni - who has just got married but I had to miss the wedding as Anne was having the chemo - and my ex-wife (now there's another story for some other time!).
Other than that it's just me and Anne, and all of you guys (and gals) here. Friends always seem to come and go, but the best of them can be called up three years after you last spoke to them and it'll still be as if you spoke every day.

Oh well we talked about it and I told her that I was gonna try it out, and was "sad" that she hadn't upset me (as if I could be sad about that hehe). I'm really looking forward to trying this out but alas, I won't see her for over a week!!!

I'm just home from my day off with my girl. It's been a very pleasant day, very relaxing and we've really enjoyed this first of December. We made decorations and although troublesome I managed to carry mine with me to my home city. She made one for me, and I made one for her. Hers is the prettiest...

Simeon hit the nail on the head, if you can call them up after 3 years and nothings changed in your relationship - they'e friends.
On the it's not improtant in the scheme of things comment - it is important in the scheme of things, it's not the gravity of the issue you face, it's how you deal with it and what you learn from it that's important. What seems to be an insurmountable problem to one person may be a minor annoyance to another. after all this is the only life you've got, and we're interested in it!!!!!

@Ronin - had a very bad experience with the FE bug last night - @lvl 93 1/2, colonzo (iirc, 3rd wave anyway) was LE/FE, half a screen away and a lightening bolt hit me - dead - 91%fire resist, 92% light res. + 15% light absorb, ~1500 health. (couldn't believe it).
@Corax - I'm soooooo envious @ the Griz's set!!!!! Where did it drop?
