New Item Find Thread: 28/6/07

Found my first Rainbow Facet last night while doing a few Pindle runs. 3% cold on both, so about the worst you can have, but its my first so I'm happy. Plus, its the "Blizzard when you die" so that will probably get more use than upon leveling with my SC Meteororb. If I can find the screenshot by the time my edit period runs out I'll post a pic.

Makes me want do 1.07 for base eth items. Nice BEAST!

Nothing here to add except for unrewarding Pindle, Meph and AT runs for the most part.

Don't get too excited anymore. Got a Ko off Pindle or his minions which surprised me. Got a Trang's Scales off one pack in AT and then the next pack dropped Trang's Girth. Two green sets from the same run.

Do not put an Ist rune in there unless your life depended on it (and maybe not even then!) PTopaz gives 24 mf and Ist only gives 25%. The extra 1% mf is in no way shape or form worth wasting an Ist like that.

Whoops, you're right. I was thinking 30% but that's only in weapons, correct?

Correct, even then, 24% versus 30% probably wouldn't be worth an Ist except that Ptopazes don't add MF in weapons so Ist is the only easy option. There are jewels but jewels with more than 10% MF are rarer than Ists.

I will try and stop polluting this thread now, but I agree on never wasting runes like that! Like socketing um into a shield.
