Need help with low damage

I'm playing a concentrate barbarian. Currently at level 58 in Nightmare act 4.
Doing about 600 average damage, with might merc and it's slooooow.

I'm using "Strength" right now in a Dacian Falx and my plan was to do the "King's Grace" runeword in a sword, but I can't find any with 3 sockets. Gothic or Tusk probably. I have the runes and just need the sword. Any ideas on where to search, or a different solution to get higher damage.

hehe. Concentrate does unspectacular damage, especially untwinked (which, I presume, is what you are playing).

1) How's your AR?

2) Are you going 2 handed? I think the "traditional" way to play a Concentrate barbarian is to go sword and shield, but that might just slow you down even more.

3) Do you have the Rune Word Mod? It's not perfect, but 'Insight' is a very good weapon, and it's very cheap to make. Even if you don't have RWM, 'Honor' is also a very good weapon choice that will tide you over for a while. Keep the 'Strength' around for bosses though.

The sad truth is that your barb never will do spectacular damage. Mine is just entering hell, and all i can say is he is quite literally untouchable to physical enemies, but the time spent actually killing them is atrocious.

Honor is a very good runeword for the runes it costs. I'd recommend it if you have an amn and a sol.

Have you tried shopping halbu? I think that you should be able to get merciless (+81% to +100% ed) and of swiftness (+30% ias) on either a zweihander or an executioner's sword. Be prepared to spend an hour or more though. And definitely have at least 200k gold. The last thing you want to is find that perfect weapon and not be able to buy it.

1. Decent, 3085, ~80% to hit, I have a few skillpoints left to place
2. Yes, plan to do 1h later if I need it in Hell
