Baal in NM is down and awaiting damnation!
I'll do a full update before I head to Hell. Seal was used on Battle Orders. I did end up doing this as it'll probably be my endgame weapon.
@Grisu I got a plan. It required a couple Lem runes and some IK pieces would greatly help.

Yeah, at least a normal Topaz, because otherwise the drop was crap...
I screwed up while recording - I tried to activate my 2nd screen to look something up while gaming and it screwed up game resolution, so I S&E before thinking...I hadn't cleared the entire level 2 of the catacombs yet, only a part. I was able to retrace my steps though (I just found the WP in level 2) and run straight through a boss pack to the unexplored area and as far as I noticed, I managed to not even kill a single monster on my way to the unexplored area! So still single pass full clear, but I have to be careful. Also, activating the 2nd screen terminated the recording...
Also, I screwed up requirements for claw weapons. They are really steep...50/50 for Blade Talons!? Need to get to level 21 for that (almost there).
Oh, and I have the full 10 chipped Topaz set! Yay for Karrin!

Hades has defeated Andariel, progress was easy but boring. Not much more to say really.
The Merc is wielding an Insight Partizan (I am not sure I posted about it last update, but I found a Partizan in the Ancients way on Normal which was a guaranteed 4 sockets from Larzak. Sol was found on the Arreat plateau. The nice thing is that even without CE I can at least spam RS do clear bodies.

Well, Appolonia is no more, I died today in the Pits.
I started in NM A1 yesterday and made steady progress.
In the pit, I encounterd 2 aura enchanted packs, one Holy Shock Stalker and an Archer pack not very far away from the entrance. At first I backed away like a smart man, after my merc died. Went to town and revived him and went back into the Pit to speak to the Pit manager.
I was surrounded at once and dead almost as fast.
A shame, yet no one to blame but myself. This only increases my dislike of the Pit, which is aptly named in my case, because I have killed more characters there than in any other zone. the combination of stalkers and archers is deadly for me
I may roll another character at a later time, but the upcoming TC3 Tourney and my 1.00 characters need some attention for now.

Well my plans did not formulate @Grisu but I did find one good find. We will see how this goes throughout Hell and whether I decide to do SP through hell or farm some.

Still questing on p1, in order to try to avoid unmanageable situation.
Since last time leveled running Mephisto up to 60, and found some nice things
Hell armor without any question!
Current merc armor for the MF
Then straight to the boss, with a stop at the forge. And what forge!
Edit: after checking runewords, a Bone armor (Sol Um Um) could be a thing for this journey!

Level 49, and things are going super well!
I decided after hitting 30 to just pump points into fanatacism. It helps the merc a ton, and since I'm trying to let him kill things for MF anyway, it's a win-win. When he kills something, the toal MF is something like 385 which is kind of amazing.
In addition, I found an ethereal poleaxe in the crystalline passage. It rolled some really great mods, and I had four amns sitting around, so I decided to upgrade it. Definitely worth it - with this hurt stick my merc can hit over 600! -req% and life steal are just gravy.
With hurt stick + fanaticism, act V was a breeze. I've been endlessly gambling amulets hoping for 'of Luck', without having much luck! My amulet is still 'of Fortune'. However, look at this BEAUT:
Fortuitous Ring of Fortune were worth a pretty penny back in the day! I don't believe I've ever found one, let alone in a tournament. 35 mf is 5% off of perfect. The worst possible roll for this item is 27, so I'm happy
And with all of that, we've finished act V! I still have to do cows, but I had a lot of work meetings today and did a pretty big push for act V, so I'll probably do cows and unlock my seal tomorrow.
Anyone care to roll me a damnation?
Oh last thing, having almost 400 mf going through this point in the game is ridiculous. I think I found 4 angelic sickle, 3 berserker's hatchet, 2 sigon's gloves, two iratha's crown, and a few others, just in A5
