Mafia Game: Cheers/Frasier Theme

@ pharphis
It's saturday night and I am reasonably drunk. Which is fine for a Saturday night. But you, Sir, are writing a lot of bull****. I'll need tomorrow to find out if you really mean it or are recruited scum.

I am sincerely at a loss for words... :unimpressed:

How come? I'm not sure if that's good or bad :p

Makes sense.

I'm sitting here procrastinating studying for my final, so I've got lots of time to think and post.

Oh, I was also going to say that if I was scum, don't you think I would have come up with a great lie for choosing coju? I mean, I would have had all night (and maybe a friend to help me come up withs oemthing better - scum normally seem to do this very well).

I spiked Gwaihir again. If Pyro used Gin again, maybe we can see a little bit more into this possibly being a roleblock now?

Sorry only making a quick post tonight because as you said, its saturday and drinking is abound. I'll be sure to check back in the morning, but yes I did spike the gin again, it seems to have been the best thing to do so far so I wanted to keep it consistent. It being a roleblock is becoming more an more likely, especially since Laarz was the main one doubting the credibility of its effect.

You're right, I found the quotes super quick.

I dont understand what you just said, my point was that you guys said it did something different to Martin, if its a block its a block, not gives a inoccent read to a person one time and roleblock someone the next time.

I'm pretty sure you guys were saying at the time that the drink must have caused the friend that Martin got, but now you think if just one of you do it something else happens?

If he was trying to cast doubt on Gwaihir being blocked. . .

Huh. Well, no NK's for the past couple of nights, and the only saving role left is the doc. So from my persepective, you must have had some good guesses on your part phar. On the other hand, I see Moar and Pyro have targeted me again, which makes complete sense. I can see how that is suspicious, and understand if I need to go, but it unfortunately won't get us anywhere.

Really at this point my only defense is this:
I have voted for every scum so far, except CG (Although I stated I would lynch him, I just wanted to see if Laarz or coju would lock a claimed bomb, as I found those two very suspicious at the time). I voted for Gory, voted frozzzen first, voted Mal, voted Jcakes first, and voted Laarz. I was after Laarz and Jcakes for multiple days trying to get them lynched.

As for my current theory: I don't get how spiking drinks is a pro-town ability. Especially when it reversed the read on a cop from guilty to innocent. His role really worries me. Anyways, my top suspect is definitely Pyro, for his very suspicious role. Still a little suspicious of coju for his odd play, although he seemed to be really sumhunting yesterday.

Not really expanding on this, but looking at it from the other perspective (where Moar is scum, and not pyro). If Moar is recruited then that means she could just be lying all these nights about the target, claiming Gwaihir whenever there isn't a kill.

That must have been easy!

Expanding on what I just said about Moar.

I'm finding it odd that the masons haven't been wiped out by now (unless of course they were targeted last night or the other night with no kill). We all know how poerful masons are for the town, so why are two of them still alive?

Vote 1: Gwaihir

I don't like votes without comment when there is still more than 24 hours left. I hope you explain later.

I really have no clue on what the spiking does. We didn't have a NK, so it's worth considering that it could be a roleblock. Another alternative is that pharphis blocked a kill on coju. And yet another possibility is that Jcakes "3 person roleblock" means that he could roleblock 3 people for the whole game and we have a SK among us that can't kill anymore.

I simply don't know which is the most likely of those alternatives.

Well actually your erroneous statement begs some further explaination.

Masons CAN have some influence early in the game simply because you have a known group of townies. That power diminishes over time with the death of the other members. There is no other inherent "powerful" nature in a mason per se. Hence the reason we are still alive. Why in the world was LozHinge whacked as a NK target?? He was known to be a mason at the time. Seems random, and others would certainly have made much better targets in mine and Moar's opinion.

Your lashing out seems staged and not really aimed at scum hunting.

If you were really wanting to make a sensible argument, you would think about why there are multiple sides to the drink spiking. Seems odd to have the drink spiking (which appears to have two parts) coming from two townie factions don't you think??

Yes, actually I do think it is odd, so I agree with Gwaihir in that respect, and it seems to make the most sense that Pyro would be the anti-town counterpart, on many levels (the spiking action, itself, the only person who does so, the rest of you being masons and therefore not scum, the results of that investigation ).

Yeah, I suppose the mason group's power diminishes over time, and only 2 rather than 3 or more is significantly less powerful.

This app is somewhat annoying because it won't let me go back and read while typing up a reply.

Anyway, I think our best bet for information today is Gwaihir. If he's town, then coju is also town, (excluding the idea of a SK w/o killing abilities - perma role blockers, do they actually exist?). If he's scum, well, we can't confirm anything about coju based on just that.

does he have ti be a tree-stump to not be able to vote? I thought I read somewhere about another role that was similar. Maybe there's something I'm missing?

Further explanation:
Pharphis' actions and comments have been noted as scummy to other people besides myself. Gwaihir has also been deemed scummy as well.
I'd reckon one of them are indeed scum. If not them two exactly, take out a name and put nulio's or flubbucket's in there.

Two nights in a role blocking gwaihir, correct? 2 nights without a nk, correct? Too late in game to be coincidence. Thanks for choosing me to save, pharphis. I do appreciate it, inspite of my vote against you.

No he doesn't have to be a treestump. But we have allowed him to be under the radar for so long and given the free pass with the simple phrase "I'm town." There has been nothing given from him (no hunting) and yet we assume him to be harmless.

Not the smartest move.

..Two nights in a role blocking gwaihir, correct? 2 nights without a nk, correct? Too late in game to be coincidence...

I'm sure of what Moar did and we will assume Pyro is telling the truth.

This point is very interesting. There are variables, of course, but this is too much to ignore.
