Lower Kurast Runs

Hello, I had nothing better to do so I decided to do some Lower Kurast Runs after reading about chest drops in this forum.

After a total of 10 runs opening everything that can be opened I got this:

Amn Rune
Sol Rune
Tal Rune (2)
Eld Rune (2)
El Rune
Guardian Angel (Unique Paladin Armor +15 Max Res cold,fire,poison,light)
Thundergods Vigor (Unique belt)
Grand Charm +24 Poison Res + 12%FHR
Grand charm
Small charm with crappy bonus
Small charm with crappy bonus
Gems, Rings, Amulets
Rares

I wanna know if it was good because if positive then i'll do more runs.
Also, I have a question. Does MF gear affect drops from corpses/chests?
If yes, then I'll use my MF sorc because I used my elemental druid for those 10 runs

MF will affect drops from corpses and normal chests, but not racks and superchests IIRC. Superchests always drop magical or rare items on a 95/5 basis. Most people that do LK runs only open the superchests, and maybe pop a rack which tends to lock onto a decent base items (like a rack on my LK nearly always dropped colossus voulges, so it didn't take long before I had several eth superior ones).

This is usually to speed up the runs, since a LK superchest has around 1:100k chance of dropping a Ber rune.
 
10 runs is a bit low to really base any conclusions on.
Do a 100 (wich wouldn't take that long) and post what you got (not every single drop ofcourse, just to stuff with potential)
 
From what I have seen, I dont think one should do LK runs for runes only... very good things drop there and I'll keep opening everything.
 
I did about 15 or so of these runs.. best rune was a Lum, got a few others, 2 Shael's, a Nef, some lower ones I did not pick up. Also got about 10 charms of varying size and a bunch of flawless gems.

These were all done in 6-8 player games.. good stuff and I'll be doing more :D

Hehe.. cold sorc ftw
i used my druid though, but I will use my cold MF sorc on my next runs

actually, there arent much monsters there, your merc. can kill them... they arent so strong.. act 3.


 
ugh im tierd of cold sorcs or any sorcs for that matter used alot of sorcs in my day now im doin trap assa thats why i asked
 
If you are on bnet you can also use a tele char for summoner super chests (those chests on the wrong way to summoner) They are the same as LK chest (ok they can'T drop higher than ohm) but they are easy to reach and drop nice too.
Found ohm 2x gul and pc skiller 20 life this ladder there (amonf other charms, gems and so on)

For single player lower kurast chests are easier to reach normally.

Tell me more, iv been runningw hell cows the last 3 days looking for polearms and other runewords items.
