I don't believe I've ever gotten anything real decent from Baal, but then again I haven't run him more than 50 or so times - but I have taken 30 or so chars through hell. Nice find tweety.
 
While levelling my merc in the pits yesterday, i found:

Wizardspike (my first)
Lum Rune
Many socketed elites (4&5 socket decapitator, and my first ever 6 socket phase blade...times 2)
Reapers Toll (also my first)
A few normal uniques to add to my grail.

And a few days ago, a gold exceptional bow from a NM Fetish in WK. droped behind one of those pillars where I couldn't get it. :hanky:

I found myself an ik-armour yesterday. I did 19 pindleruns with 3% MF (not in MF purpose) and then... :surprise:

I just did 40 Pindle runs and ... a Whitstan's Guard and other assorted crap.

Thanks for ruining my day.

That's it. It's 3% MF for me now. Screw my 4ptopaz armor and Shako and all that. I'm taking all that stuff off for +skills (well, leave the Shako maybe) and go for killing power and mow down everyone and maybe something good will drop.

That's the secret huh? 3% MF. Wow. :worship:
 
Running pindle last night, trying to level up while working out my Ancients strategy, maybe Pindle will drop something helpful...

hmm... Green Sacred Armor, wonder what that is?

Wake up this morning and the wife tells me she found a Gul in the Pit and I also noticed in the new gear stash that she found another Andariel's Visage. I think she is sitting with about 300% mf and 500% on the switch. She can sure find stuff.

Her new runs include the Pit as she is trying to find me a Soul Cage for my IK barb; I am keeping my fingers crossed. :-)

Yep... I just found a Gold Scourge and Legendary Mallet in the pits, and guess what, they weren't the ones I wanted :rant:
 
I'm so happy! While questing through Act 4 NM with my Wind Druid, I came upon the Hellforge and crossed my fingers for an Um rune to drop and it did! :clap:
I know, I know, very far from the uber Lo rune Thresh dropped me, but at least relatively findable and one of the most useful rune IMHO.

Hehe, I like to put it this way; As many hours I've spent killing highlevel critters for xp purpose, it would be strange if I didn't find anything good.

Hey don't get angry and frustrated over 40 Pindleruns. Sure you can find extremely good items after a few runs but it can also take a significan't amount of runs before a green or a gold drop. Keep running and something nice will drop eventually, lower MF is not the trick it's patience.

My sossy got her level up to 93 recently from running pindle and I got atleast one good item today:

Yeah, 40 runs is actually nothing ... it's just that he's quite frustrating as most people know.

Nothing, nothing, nothing ... and then within 15 runs he finally drops this (not that I play barbs interestingly enough - but almost finished the set so IK WW barb he I come!)

He can be very frustrating to run him. Sometimes when he is mean against me I go and kill some bosses in the Ancient Tunnels instead and then I get back to Pindle he sometimes is nicer to me like if he missed me

just found another stormshield offa baal, only got in 5 runs though, and now i gotsta go to work =\ ghey!
 
I gib back some of the MOJO MF(just some) i took from you all, I finnaly found a TALS armor while running the pits last night, also found me a pair of goulhide gloved that adds nicely to my grail..

This may not belong here, but I will share it anyway. How is this for crappy luck. I was trolling through nm with my mf sorc looking for some goodies. I hit meph, and get Ashbane short staff and Greyform quilted armor in the same drop! I was like whoohoo!! Two grail items in one shot!!! Then I remembered I was on BNET. I was like what am I supposed to do with this trash now!!
