Ya, I did the same thing for a while, at each pindle run I'd check in at Anya for nice jewelers armor of the whale or trap/shadow claws - I found +3 trap claws w/+3 lightning sentry that way (over the course of leveling several chars from lvl 85-90). So the chances of getting something good aren't great, but its there, just the same.
Anyhow, after the unearthed wand earlier this week, and the armor and the rolls on my exile shield - I bet I'm heading for another long dry spell. Before I found that wand I had gone for a long time without finding much of anything (though I did make some nice trades over that period). It's funny how spurious luck is.

Oh darn it Vajar, that IS one sick armour you got there. A pity i can't help you on this; the highest i have is a 28%FR/15%IAS jewel. I'd love to see that armour completed!

I hope I will be as lucky as some of you soon... :surprise: I have quit meph again, because the feeling that he can't drop enough for me anymore has come up again. I am trying the pit again, although I didn't have luck on my first attempts a few weeks ago. Pindle is booooring (+ no luck either) and the pit is the easiest tc85 area. I will have to check out the WSK, because Baalruns give the best exp, too, but they are in no way as easy as the pits. I hope to find a way to run them without that much trouble...

Dang, nice find off Pindle Nightfire05. That's why i'm enduring Pindle. For that Windforce baby.
As easy as he is I literally fall asleep running him during the night. Even though i'm softcore my current MF'ing char is level 91 and XP is hard to come by. You lose too much XP when you get killed and I don't feel like be set back further until level 92.
Anyways, forgot I found this small poison charm last night somewhere. What's the max anyways? 290 over 10 secs or something like that?

not played much this weekend, and the only noticable find was ammy of the rising sun and the cathans stave (which i dont think i have, or cant find anywhere at least). Oh, and a unique halberd, which i didnt even bother to check the stats on before adding it to my stash of useless items.

Just wondering, an inventory with a bunch of poison charms like these ... do they really make an appreciable difference in your damage output? Like with a Strafer for example in Hell difficulty? In effectiveness?
Poison damage isn't really that great - it was best used in 1.09 cows since they didn't have poison resistance. The reason why they're so popular, however, are because of PvP. Its a hit once and forget about it-type damage, something that's very popular, like the now powerful open wounds.
And to stay on topic... I didn't really find this, but a very generous person (friend I'll call him now), over at other forums (quite a few of you participate in the community over there too) donated this precious beauty to complete my melee paladins:
