I agree that FB's contributions to the EMB and (to a lesser extent) the DooL will be sorely missed, but I also think that he should either be banned, or leave on his own will. We know him to be an all-around good guy, and a contributer to the forum, but the fact that he has been around for so long means does not mean he should be pardoned - it just means that he should have known better. In my opinion, I think that a respected forumite should be dealt with as harshly as a newcomer, simply because of this.

That 'forum elder' comment made me laugh, glad to see some of the REAL forum elders cleared that little point up.

But in all seriousness, I never knew 'im well enough to know who 'e was and I'm not the hugest fan of OT threads. I 'ave so much funny pirate stuff I'd I could be saying, but I know it's all going to get interpreted a lot harsher than I intended.

Gee bob. I never would have figured you for it.
I mean come on. Why the hell would you need a hacked white? If you played the game enough to find all those runes, then plain hydra's must have been dropping like rain drops and you would have had enough characters with socket quests to throw enough at untill you got 6 sockets. and superior? You had enough buddies out there to fish out one for a special like a main weapon for a good character.
One thing amongst the "old timers" and "forum elite". the grape vine is thick and strong. Why wouldn't you use it?
I really wonder. If you where prepared to download/hack/edit/what ever a stupid white 6 socket bow, what else did you use from the download or editors? is this just the tip of the iceberg?
Guess we are all left wondering now huh?
Oh well. In a way I feel sorry for you. to get sprung on something so insignificant. Hey, if I was gunna branded a duper/hacker, i would want it to be for windforces, schaefers hammers, ik armors and fathoms, not a gimme for free white. Just doesn't seem right some how, but oh well.
