How many have actually found high runes, vex,ohm,sur etc i

best i have found is sur and ist, from monsters in the catacombs level 4. best find still is paladin combat with 40life. got jah ber Lo and 22ist for that. runes are so duped, so if you are lucky enough to find a zod you will have a hard time trading it becuse nobody will belive it is legit.

Best non hellforge rune was vex from mephy in 09. Saw an ist drop once in cows, but my dumb arse thought it was ith and watched some leecher pick it up.

BIG difference between cubing vexes and finding vexes Unless you cubed a zod. Then bra-fricking-vo to you ^^

I think the highest I found was an IST, but I think I'm wrong. I have NEVER found a rune that the hellforge can't drop. If you want to find runes, then make a javazon and clear hell cows, but only equip full killing gear so you can kill as fast as you can since mf does not affect runes.

And for me, highest I ever found was a pul from a casket on the way to andy hell. And ist from hellforge.

I found 3 SoJ's in single player but none ever on Bnet.

My most memorable find ever was a perfect ethereal skullders :/

Yesterday I found 2 shaels, a hel, and finally a vex rune. Got the vex rune of a simple hellcat in act2 far oasis. Then a few hours later got a Tyraels Might armor off a champion maggot in RoF. Lucky day for me I guess.

Oddly enough, last week on my way to Shenk I killed some random monster and I found a Windforce. Too bad they aren't worth much anymore.

I still had to pay an UM for one last ladder, which makes it the most expensive item I've ever *bought* (found a SOJ and a Maras myself, got a free arachnid etc...). Another guy even wanted an IST for an 8% one (I got a 7%...) and told me 7% was worth MAL.

Won't be making a bowazon anytime soon on the current ladder, obviously...

My frustration too. On every forum ppl are spamming the highest runewords for builds as if everybody gets them in a starters-packet.

It's quite normal. The "I have an Enigma, what can I do with it?" posts are even more funny --- people with runewords and apparently no clue about the game. And in the Necromancer forum they were debating about making Iron Golems from Beast... it was just insane.

Runes get/got duped a lot (they still seem to be rare on current ladder, for whatever reason). It was difficult to trade for *items* in the tradeforums towards the end of the ladder, as people only had crappy socketables and their failed crafts in their tradelists, and just the occasional unique/set item. Even skillers were impossible to get here, as people only sold the ones with +life... luckily, "O this N that" games still worked for skillers
