everything the guy above me said are good ways
but really alot of ppl buy off the internet b/c they are lazy and they may have bad luck
or good friends like one of my buds bought me griffs and p lite chutas w/ facet for my sorc
but imo most of those ppl with perfect everything buy off of the internet

Lying cheating and stealing. Yep, Stealing.

I am trading here, as well as with legit players. Cheaters suck. I do it for my enjoyment, and my satisfaction. Its fun!

I only Pawn armor, and keep room for at least 2 sets in inv, and one in cube. All my mercs are alive... thanks.

I have simple method: during baalruns I pick up all berserkers axes, monarchs, than try to do sockets there (in horadric cube), than sell it.
Also I pick up all gems/flawlesses, than gamble charms, from hell. Skillers - are at least pul.
I sell found items quick and cheaply for pgms, than use those pgms to gamble charms.

BTW, I didn,t need to buy my skillers therefore, all are found or gambled.

I used a combination of lucky MFs, and looking for the right buyers. Some guy gave a me a jah (probably duped though) for arm of leoric+marrowwalks simply because he needed for a summoner merc! Anotehr guy traded me 2 HRs for an ist, etc. I gave someone trav wp and he gave me eth titans!

So you just gotta find the right guy sometimes too.

@kaotic dragon : zomg- eth cv's will NOT always get 4 sockets from larzukdepending on where you got it they can get 4/5/6 (i thought 4 was impossible at one time but then it happened to me O.o)

@ topic again: kill then kill some more. if you are effective at trading, enough to at least break even with a price guide (places cookie on the altar in the Pillz shrine), then keyrunning seems to work fairly well. you still cant knock a good necro summoner without teleport doing area clearing. the build forces you to kill far more or lose your army, and thus killing power. the skellies know how to do it: (try to)kill everything in sight, then run around looking for more.
if you intend to magic find for items themselves i advocate keyrunning, and forgerushing to get puls to trade for 7% small charms. i've learned you can make almost any build magic find worthy with a small pile of those, while maintaining killing power gear.
i've also personally found the act bosses to be the least rewarding for slick item drops.
so don't skip that nice cluster of 60 or so fallen and shamans in a1 in favor of the countess or the like a little faster- nail the pile of buggers as they can be the most rewarding thing on earth. ditto for flayers, you don't even have to ask the one with knives to line up..

You'll have a really hard time getting a 5 or 6 socket CV, considering the max amount of sockets they can have is 4. :rolleyes:

i asked him how he gets so rich and he said lots of trading and ive been playing forever.

Well....the ladder hasnt been on for that long, i trade all the time but never really get anywhere(maybe im just bad at it) and i mf constantly,my entire ladder season doesnt even compare to his maras and griffons, am i doing something wrong??

Why ? I havent used it, and, besides i think ill never will, as im not so into LoD to start learning how to use b.o.t.s, in addition, pc im playing on is for family use, so i cant leave diablo running.

anyway, no more b.o.t talks, sry for that.

btw, veryone knows there are ALOT of bots on bnet...and it hasnt been mentioned here as reason for becoming rich..maybe cuz ppl are afraid to mention that :D

If you play legit, the most important thing is to know what is good, what is godly, and those are normally not unique and a lot of people throw/sell them away very cheap.

I got a 24max dmg jewel from a "junk jewel" package, sold for 12hrs. that what started me this ladder. the other thing I could think of was a eth vortex shield 4os from ground of a baal run that no one picked up.

It's probably been posted before, but key running is the fastest (legit) way to get rich.

And by legit I mean not having to buy items off the internet, dupe, or run a bot, or any other questionable activity.

Oh, I forgot. I shop for gems and other things. I wait in town after a boss kill, and buy what other people throw away. its cheaper than gambing, you know what your getting, and its a use for all that gold you get from hauling armor!. I have purchased perfect skulls, perfect emralds, set items, good rares.

I loaded a b.o.t., about 4 years ago, when it supported tetris, but I never ran one.its really LAME. Kinda like using your mommies credit card.
