Re: The Mods, Muling and Utilities Thread (new ATMA/GoMule thread)

Silo could you do a reccy of the way MF and GF is done in GoMule please. One of my chars was showing about 200 and even I could count up to 300 on him.

Also in that little nifty readout at the bottom (MF, GF and FRW) is it worth adding On and Off IAS and also FHR. Ta.

Already fixed that one I hope. MF/Level wasn't displaying properly, could you add up your MF again and confirm that it is indeed mising the mf/level? Cheers.

Also the box now has:

MF
GF
FR/W
FHR
IAS
FCR

I might add on weapon IAS.

Re: The Mods, Muling and Utilities Thread (new ATMA/GoMule thread)

hang on does this mean i need to DL a new version? and on board ias would be good

Re: The Mods, Muling and Utilities Thread (new ATMA/GoMule thread)

That's ironic, since I'm still hosting RRM/RWM. And I thought RRM was updated to use the 1.11 patchstring.tbl a long time ago.

Re: The Mods, Muling and Utilities Thread (new ATMA/GoMule thread)

@ Silo, caught another miniscule problem with GoMule v2.0:

Hailstone Brow
Circlet
Defense: 20
Durability: 90 of 105
Required Level: 65
Fingerprint: 0xdfc1aaf8
Item Level: 87
Version: Expansion 1.10+
Properties:
8% Life stolen per hit
20% Faster Cast Rate
2% Bonus to Attack Rating <--- Here

GoMule says only 2% Bonus to Attack Rating, but in-game the bonus is whatever level your character is (i.e. wearing on a level 73 character shows "73% Bonus to Attack Rating". Will send you a stash if needed.

In regards to RRM for the Mac, I downloaded it from Cattleya's site about a month ago (yes, the link has been gone for ages) and I had worse luck than a display problem. In Harrogoth if I spoke to Qual-Kehk(?) that was it and I could go no further—not a full freeze-up but the interface froze, so I promptly uninstalled it. I had tried with the same results about a year ago. Would slay Baal 1000 times for a good working RRM version.

Re: The Mods, Muling and Utilities Thread (new ATMA/GoMule thread)

If you wouldn't mind mailing a copy of the item on a char to [email protected] that would be very handy, thanks.

Cheers to all for the Mac stuff. Gimmie a few days to ponder :)

Re: The Mods, Muling and Utilities Thread (new ATMA/GoMule thread)

Does the RWM/RRM mods work on Lan (TCP/IP) if the host and all client has it installed?

Re: The Mods, Muling and Utilities Thread (new ATMA/GoMule thread)

Yes. Only the host needs it installed.

However any character entering and gaining xp in that game is considered RWM/RRM from that point.

I've had people pop into my MP games to make a runeword. By agreement, of course.

Re: The Mods, Muling and Utilities Thread (new ATMA/GoMule thread)

Odd, RRM is .tbl only, and what strings are used is a local thing, not governed by the server/host.

Re: The Mods, Muling and Utilities Thread (new ATMA/GoMule thread)

RTB is as correct as usual, RWM is what Thyiad was referring to I think.

RRM is something between you and your computer alone - Which is why it works on Bnet.

Correct. I always think of them as 'together' and forget they work differently.

If you use it on the Realms you will be be banned from our Realm Trade Forums.

Haha, seriously? That cracks me up. With the amount of stuff floating around the least of their worries are items "tainted" by dropping with a different colour :coverlaugh:

Take to the Trade Mods, silo. This thread is for SP Mods, Muling and Utilities help not for a discourse on Trade Forum Rules.

I know, I know. I don't actually have a complaint (since I'm not on bnet), I just thought it was amusing :)

To keep it on topic, GoMule updates are still going well :alright:

Re: The Mods, Muling and Utilities Thread (new ATMA/GoMule thread)

Hi, I am really new at this, still on my first ever D2 character, I have the LOD expansion loaded but am not playing an expansion character.
I just dl'd ATMA and looked at my character and figured out how to make a stash. I had read that it would throw me back to the Act 1 area and it did, but I guess I lost my merc? Not a big deal I guess. (I am playing 1.07)

My real question, 2 of my items show up as having level 66 and 67 requirements. My char is level 22 and weilding/wearing these items. Is this common? If it is displaying incorrectly I am worried about going back into the game and having the item suddenly not be equipable.

I still only sort of understand the whole muling thing, but I really like the idea of being able to do a database of all the items you ever got.

cheers,
ransom
:thanks:

Re: The Mods, Muling and Utilities Thread (new ATMA/GoMule thread)

what .dll file do I need to be able to run more than 1 client at once? and can I use that to mule with myself on "lan"?

It tells you in the first post. Yes you can use it to self-mule over a LAN.

You can equip items in ATMA that you can't use. That's well-known. The items will be red-ded out in game and you won't actually be using them; their attributes won't add to your own.

As for a 'database'. No not quite. You can keep what you find and trade with those items but at that point YOU DELETE IT FROM YOUR COMPUTER. You don't keep a database and then send it to friends. This probably wasn't your meaning, but I thought it best to say so now.

Re: The Mods, Muling and Utilities Thread (new ATMA/GoMule thread)

Issue with RRM/RWM installation

After recent lappy issues, and the fact I want to run multiple versions, I have three folders of D2 on my D: partition of my hard drive (it's formatted such that when I need to reinstall windows the data doesn't get destroyed), one for each version.

I've tried to get RRM/RWM working, but it won't work, here is where I've got to (with numerous PMs to Thyiad):

Installing it normally and altering the shortcut correctly takes me to classic:scratchchin:

Any combo of -direct -txt without altering the Start in folder opens LoD

Just altering the start on folder takes me to classic

Dragging the whole folder to the C drive and using the RRM/RWM shortcut works perfectly

So any ideas how to get it working?

Re: The Mods, Muling and Utilities Thread (new ATMA/GoMule thread)

I got the RRM/RWM mods working (atleast the text is red) but I still can't manage to modify the D2gfx.dll so I can run 2 copies at the same time. none of the 3 Hex editors I've used even showed the correct lines where I was supposed to go. witch program should I use for the editing?

The correct lines vary depending on the version. You're looking for the string, it's easy to see through a decompiler.

Mail me a copy of the clean 1.07 d2gfx.dll you have and I'll reply with the edited one. [email protected]
