Re: HELP - Mods, Muling, Utilities & Variants (EG RWM/RWM/ATMA etc)

Well yes, if it can't find the txt files with all the data in them, you aren't going to be able to open a character.

GoMule cant find the files, so that means you either have no read permissions to them, or they aren't there. Re download, reinstall and it'll work fine.

Re: HELP - Mods, Muling, Utilities & Variants (EG RWM/RWM/ATMA etc)

Thanks a ton, that seems to have fixed it (though I'm not sure how I lost those in the first download). I'll just blame Vista for it.

Edit: scratch that, it loads my atma stash but not my characters. They still come up as "Disconnected".

Edit2: I created a new expansion sorc and then saved and exited. Opened her up in GoMule and it worked fine, but none of my other characters seem to work.

Sounds like a vista permissions issue perhaps? Right click on GoMule and click run as administrator. That might help.

What version are your characters? Any different error messages?

Re: HELP - Mods, Muling, Utilities & Variants (EG RWM/RWM/ATMA etc)

I had another issue in atma. I made two new stashes but i cant find those in the atma directory (program files/atma V/atma_config). i noticed these new two stashes i made i named starting with a small leter. i noticed all my other stashes start with a big letter. maybe this has something to do with where these two .d2x files are located? this a familiar issue?

EDIT: i can open these new stashes normally in atma

Re: HELP - Mods, Muling, Utilities & Variants (EG RWM/RWM/ATMA etc)

Doesn't seem to be a capital letter issue, since I have varying starting letters and it's working fine here. Are you sure that they are created on the atma directory?

Re: HELP - Mods, Muling, Utilities & Variants (EG RWM/RWM/ATMA etc)

Use windows search features to locate any .d2x files. That should point you to where those stash files are. You can them move them anywhere you wish and load them from ATMA.

Re: HELP - Mods, Muling, Utilities & Variants (EG RWM/RWM/ATMA etc)

err... still on XP and will not move until Windows 7. ;)

But I'd gather you'll only need to input d2x in the filename textbox and it will be taken care of. Any file with that string in its name (including extension) will be shown. Or you'll get more precise and input *.d2x and it will search any file name that ends with a dot followed by d2x.

I can access one character, just not the rest of them. (I checked the permissions for GoMule, it seems to have System, Administrator, and My permissions). I don't think I can run .jar files as administrator, I could try compiling it as a .exe? (I have JGrasp and was learning Java in College, so I can do a little with it, just not figure out this problem :p)

Maybe I'll run the code through Jgrasp and see where it throws the error.

Edit: Oh Yeah, this is the Error it's showing:

Edit2: It appears to be hitting a snag in D2dc6 class in the getSingleImage method when it creates an instance of BufferedImage. But I have no idea what's causing that problem. Am I missing images now?

thanks i needed to type ext.(.d2x) in the search box

the search function cant find them though, must be hidden files for some reason?

but they exist in atma.

EDIT: atma got severe issues now, stashes dissapearing then appearing out of thin air. both on atma list and directory (?!). i think i will have to reinstall.

i copied the atma directory from my last hdd onto this one (instead of instaling atma then coppying the stashes). maybe thats what messed it all up?

EDIT: oh yeah i forgot. and i saw an error in atma saying something about registry entries.

Re: HELP - Mods, Muling, Utilities & Variants (EG RWM/RWM/ATMA etc)

I want to put RWM/RRM on my laptop (since my desktop died), but this link doesn't work right now:

My own installed copy of RWM and RRM is zipped and here filename RWMRRM.7z. This is Runeword mod and Red Rune Mod together. Just unzip that in the D2 folder as it is, change the shortcuts so they match the last photo in the guide and you should have BOTH RWM and RRM working. It is a ZIP file created by 7zip.

Can anyone email the zip file to me? Pm me for my email address if you can.

Thanks.

Ok ok I think I've done the part of the website with the links in. Links in new Sticky should work.
