Guide: WS K Amazon

Hmm lvl 17 valk with 1 point in decoy , penetrate/critical/dodge/avoid/evade is a pretty hot tank with +skills gear. More so if you use a defiance merc .I think there would be atleast a 70% chance to hit with a raven frost . It's 2% chance on striking . It should last long unless it is against those bugged gloams or Bosses. .

What about the peace runeword armor gives you lvl 17 valk without wasting skill points.
You can do very well without a valk, and the only other somewhat appealing mod on the armor is the +2 skills (which aren't that needed).

And spirit monarch , It gives +2 skills , some resists but lousy blocking? and requires huge dex for 75% block.
As is pointed out in the guide, you shouldn't rely on your shield for resists, as you need to have maxed lightning resists in your bow setup (that's how you deal with gloams). Now this doesn't mean you can't use a spirit, but not for the resists.

Awesome guide!!
My fishy is currently level 88 and is doing not bad at WSK runs. I havent quite got into a good flow yet so it still takes a while to complete runs.

I decided to go with the idea posted here about using thundergods V and putting those skill spare points into pierce. (Which REALLY helps vs gloams) Not to mention +20 str and Vit.. which is essentially +40 Vita

Heres my set up

Titans---TStrokes in stash
StormSheild
Shako (shael)
Rare tri res boots 40 LR 36 CR 36 FR
Crafted Ammy +2 Ama Skills +15 Res all +8 Mana regen + 8 Mana
2xs Raven Frost
ThunderGods
Magic Gauntlets +3 Java +16 Dex
Skulders (P topaz)
Wizendraw (looking for a matri bow for a while now)
Low anni and torch+ Gheeds some Res all Gc's and some small single res Charms.

My merc is using Insight eth CA Duriels and Andys mask. WoeStave in stash to slow and cripple baal

What should i socket the Storm sheild with? I was thinking of getting some more mf but dont want to waste an ist.
I am DEFINATLY going to keep one ravenfrost ...I dont understand how you could not miss the CBF..it saves my *** all the time.. not to mention the points saved in dex that can go into life...+Mana aswell IMO thats worth sacrificing +1 all skills..... not sure what other ring to use tho cant really afford a soj...Any suggestions?.
Also I am not thrilled with my Glove selection....any good ideas?
I have 151 Dex....How much is needed for max blocking and is it essential?

My merc isnt all that usefull...I am still drinking mana pots all the time but thats not a huge issue...I was just wondering if an act 3 or 5 Merc with Azurewrath might be usefull in anyway. I guess an act 5 merc would have lousy leach with such small physical dmg but cant help thinking Sanctuary would help in the wsk ESPECIALLY against pesky gloams. and an act3 merc isnt going to get IM'd every other run and cost you a arm and a leg to revive!

Wizendraw is working out OK but Jesus fricken christ its slow, cant WAIT to get my hands on a melody...BTW do other Normal and exceptional ama bows spawn with +3 B&C skills? If so are any of them faster or equal to the Matri Bow?.

Thanks again for this build I'm having alot of fun with it, I can usually run WSK with 3 other ppl in the game ...anymore than that and I start getting hurt pretty bad and the run ends up taking A LONG time...havent found anything really good yet but I'll keep trying.

Thanks again1

Single player????

To answer some of your questions though - try and get 90IAS. Shael your wizendraw, craft some 20IAS gloves and put IAS jewels in your helm and armor. That'll take you from a 13 frame to a 9 frame attack. The wizzie is actually an endgame weapon for a fishyzon - the -CRes is equivalent to a lot of +skills (and in some cases better). But if you are determined to get a RW zon bow, all of the other zon bows can get +3skills, but none are as fast as the Mat bow.

That is all for now.

I got a few questions about the build:

1. Where should I put my attributes?
2. What is the best final Equipment?
3. Does it really walk WK with ease?

1. Usual, str/dex enough for gear. Max block or not is a personal preference. Rest in vit.
2. It's handled in the guide.
3. Yes. Even I can do it.

It is not a sin to put a few point in energy if you don't like drinking potions all the time, but generally you'd like to put as little as possible. A build does not hang on 30 stat points.

Nice writeup Nightfish! Especially the advice on stocking up on +res charms, etc. Those +dam charms just use up inv space and are fairly useless on hell if res is low or minus. Eek! Also, don't take your valk to fight the cows -- she likes to kill the king (bad valk, bad valk). Grins.

Ok I'm lvl 83 now and maxed al my skills for the guide, now to customize it. But I don't know where to put them, any suggestions?

And about the damage... How much should you more or less do, because my damage seems a bit low to me.

And 1 last thing, what is a 3os +3skill matriachalbow (or any other 3os +3skill bow) worth?

I dont see how this build can survive having no poison resists against both the rat men and poison skeleton mages. These guys are killing me left and right.

Actually, I agree with TheChemist to some extent. I think poison resist is more valuable in WSK/Baal running than is usually assumed in guides. That's not to say I'm going to stop worshiping the greatness of Nightfish. I just make sure to pack my poison resist higher than he does. I'm only mortal, after all...

Of course, having a sleeve of antidotes in your belt solves a lot of the problem too. Some combination of use your tanks, drink your pots, up your res, and stop getting hit with poison attacks should do the trick.

Oh no I agree its certainly not as big of a problem as it would be if I was a melee with -30 pr, but I just feel with high volume of rat men and the annoyingly large "hit radius" of those poison mages, a bit more pr would definitely help.
